Have you ever seen MarriedaLeicesterGirl and the MK Dons boss in the same room? -
mahrez size? either I'm deluded, or the price grealish and coutinho went for are a benchmark of where we should be aiming.

Many young women are lost, sadly.

are you telling me that exposure to material, for example, extreme Islamist propaganda, can't change people's fundamental personalities? -

I'm going to a wear a t shirt saying "why is the non COVID excess death rate in the UK running at 20% above the five year average, even though the NHS backlog only accounts for a small number of this, and why isn't it all over the media?". That's my agenda. -

I won't be happy until every single person going to a sports event has a catchy slogan on their t shirt for their chosen cause celebre. They don't have to actually do anything to help, just make grand gestures and post on social media to "raise awareness". In fact, I'll be disappointed if we don't see dozens of disruptions in every game, zip ties to goalposts, streakers, superglued goalie gloves, people setting themselves on fire in the centre circle, all to add a little bit of variety to a mundane sporting event. -

The overwhelming consensus is that climate change is real, if people have an opinion that differs then that should be permitted, if they can provide evidence that is persuasive, fair enough. You do people a disservice, if not being straight out condescending, by not allowing them to decide for themselves if something is bogus or not. -

Remember that crazy guy who said the earth was spherical and wasn't the centre of the universe? His dissent was nearly shut down and he would probably have been cancelled today. -

I strongly disagree, perhaps, maybe, there's a tiny possibility that an imminent catastrophic event like an asteroid may not benefit from diversity of thought. However, in almost every other circumstance, diversity of opinion isn't merely important, it's a necessity. I loathe the current atmosphere whereby dissenting voices are silenced. It's not that long ago you would be suspended from Twitter for saying the vaccines didn't stop transmission or that lockdowns would kill more people than they saved. This old chestnut, it was particularly prevalent during the great vaccine debates of 21, which saw me banned (still) from General (speech is as free as the powers that can control it allow it to be). When they can't counter your argument with facts, they resort to ad hominem attacks, something I have never, and will never do. -

Intolerance not being tolerated isn't a paradox, it's hypocritical and nefarious. Who decides what were tolerant of? Until very recently Spain was tolerant of a 30 year old lying with a 13 year old, but we're not. It's the classic problem of the leftist literati, diversity of everything but thought, the moral arbiters of values and morals are ironically the most closed minded of all. -

you mustn't have read it or are just shooting things down blindly that don't fit your personal ideology, it was quoting a wide government survey. https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ukgwa/20160129144547/http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/integrated-household-survey/integrated-household-survey/january-to-december-2013/sty-facts-about-lgb-community-in-the-uk.html @RumbleFox I'm having to edit this in response to you because I've reached my daily limit of 10 posts! I know all about ADHD, my old man was an educational psychologist, one of the first people in the UK to push ADHD and diagnosed hundreds if not thousands of children with it, a specialist I suppose you could call him. I sympathise with you, but in fairness it doesn't stop you typing out long, coherent, thoughtful posts so it isn't that debilitating luckily. -

Because throughout modern history we've falsely overestimated the percentage of homosexuals in society based on a flawed study by a very, very controversial gentleman. https://mercatornet.com/why_do_we_wildly_over_estimate_the_proportion_of_gays_and_lesbians/17890/ Proper studies suggest between one in one hundred and one in 75 people may be gay, which would mean there's far less gay footballers than the media want us to believe, that are being forcibly kept in the closet by a bigoted society in which they have exactly the same rights as everyone else. -

well you can start with examining the interests of various people based on their sexuality and extrapolate out from there. simples. -

I still maintain the lack of out football stars is a direct result of how uncomfortable it is for both them and their teammates, the libertarians denying or mocking that should try asking their wife (or husband) if they mind them walking around in a women's (or men's) changing room! -

can I address this issue of why there aren't openly gay footballers, and it's a genuine answer, not a flippant joke. homosexual men are attracted to men, footballers share changing rooms with other footballers and walk around with their majestic penises (penii?) hanging out. it creates a problem, both parties would feel uncomfortable, would you have females walking around in the changing rooms with naked men? The narrative is pushed by the agenda pushers that footballers don't come out because of society, when really it's for their own, and their teammates feelings of ease. -

don't get me started on the social contagion of transsexualism, recognised as a mental disorder by the WHO until not that long ago, but now is seemingly ever present in society. (no really, don't get me started on it, I'm limited to 10 replies per day and banned from general chat section, still! 😅) -

They can tell people how to act because they have reached ultimate morality. If you were born in other places or other times, you would have a completely different set of culturally imposed morals, but this, this time and place right here, this is the correct set of moral opinions. We've done it, we've transcended. -

I don't know, homosexuality is far from being outlawed in the UK, but we still see pride MONTH, major corporations changing their logo to the rainbow, police vans repainted with rainbows, sports stars wearing armbands, coloured corner flags, adverts, billboards, talking heads. You need to consider, when literally everyone is pushing your agenda, are you really the persecuted minority? -

sexuality should be a personal matter only and have absolutely no business being pushed by corporations, establishments or authorities, even if in the name of virtue. -

Another way of looking at is this...Hamer, now retired, disagrees. His study, which analysed the genomes of 40 pairs of gay brothers, looked exclusively at people who identified as homosexual. He sees the new paper as an analysis of risky behavior or openness to experience, noting that participants who engaged in at least one same-sex experience were also more likely to report having smoked marijuana and having more sexual partners overall. Hamer says that the findings do not reveal any biological pathways for sexual orientation. “I’m glad they did it and did a big study, but it doesn’t point us where to look.” -
