I wonder what the average wage is in the championship, 15-25k maybe. Even after the wage reductions most of our players will be on more than that. Any acceptable offers that come in for our players we need to accept.
Vestergard was on 35k at Southampton, we upped his wages to 78k, so even at a 50% dock, he'll still be on more money.

On the bright side, at least I can get rid of sky sports now, not that we were really on it until there was a something newsworthy, ie getting relegated. Are championship games streamed?

In your opinion. How about, if you don’t want to clap them, don’t, and if you can’t handle relegation, go and watch American football.

Time for the powers that be to earn their money, does the high tech computer system that they were bragging about a few years back still exist, do we have a scouting system anymore, have the club got the balls to sign players like Mahrez and Fuchs again or will they just do what everyone else does and sign overpaid names.

this is ****ing ridiculous. We were one of the top 20 most valuable clubs in the world at the beginning of the year. Saying that Luton is more attractive than us is a stupid thing to say. **** off
Load of rubbish, our assets are all leaving, where do you think the money comes from? there’s gonna be no tv coverage, no advertising, the prem is where the money is, we’re history, another Blackburn.

I’d keep him and his staff, there’s been glimpses of decent football and I think it was always going to be a massive struggle to motivate this lot. Fresh start, a chance to implement his own ideas and bring some players in

Honestly our fans. Who the **** is going to buy a mediocre team in a mediocre city, somewhere in the middle of a mediocre country? No one that's who. We have Top or some American investment group, choice is yours. This club is realistically no going to get better than we have unless any of you lot have a few spare millions!
Totally agree, Tops only mistake was not getting rid of Rodgers early enough and paying him such an amount that he couldn’t sack him anyway. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing, especially when Rodgers had delivered a fa cup and a couple of europa places.
No one is gonna want to buy this club and the fans better get used to the idea, there’s far better projects if a billionaire wants to try their luck, Luton for a start, we got lucky last time around, there’s simply no romance in buying this club cos it’s already happened-

It was the top of G1 and G2
The first one started at the back of sk1, a woman behind me had a radio and said it was a load of rubbish, then one started in g1, then I think one started in the family stand and the West Ham fans died down a bit

Well at least we’re gonna have a good clear out and cut the ridiculous wage bill. Matt piper said last week we need to get players who want to play for Leicester and reward them for achievement, when they’ve achieved something. This lot expect reward for failure.

How about, no one renew their season ticket until we know what the score is.

Would love Big Wes to become our new DoF - lead our most successful period and clearly understands what it means to play for the club.
The stringing together of two coherent sentences might be a problem though

Oh no it’ll be like another day with finances. Especially when we’ve loaned against future PL earnings.
Everyone who got us relegated on the seventh highest wage packet will be there next season. Minus Rodgers.
We, as fans, will still be able to watch football and have a beer and a laugh before the game, we don’t see any of the money. The club has done what every other team in the pyramid wants to do, and that’s win it, West Ham fans singing about us going down… so what… they’ve not won anything, nor has Newcastle, they’re basically celebrating losing and every year they’ll be hoping to do what we did, but they won’t. Whoopie di doo.

I wouldn’t say a player that was planning to see his contract out 18 months ago and move on with a big signing on payout as being attached to us.
