Transfer Deadline Day - Predictions Thread

In: Dwight Gayle. I'm not joking

Based on performances last season, I would sell Slimani if we get back the fee we paid for him. I'm pretty sure he will do well for another side but I think his injury record is a bit of a concern. Also, we already have a plan B in Ulloa (who isn't as good as Slimani but is probably a much cheaper option). Even if the club saved Slimani's transfer fee for the January transfer window to buy another Jamie-Vardy/Iheanachi type striker, it wouldn't be awful for us. However, I do hope Leicester sign some highly rated players on transfer deadline day!

To be honest, I think Danny Drinkwater holds us back from taking the 'next step' as a club. He's too negative at times. I'd accept an offer of 35mil plus add ons.

    Mahrez has asked to leave

If i was Jon Rudkin, I would send out a statement saying we'll accept any offer over 50 million for Mahrez. Can you imagine it? Every Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Man U and Chelsea fan pleading for their club owners to spend the cash to land Mahrez? A club will eventually pay-up that sort of money for the 2015-16 premier league player of the year, especially if they get off to a poor start next season.

    LCFC podcasts youtube and websites

Good idea. Here's my contribution. It's a one-off special podcast made by freakonomics about Leicester's story last season. I think it's worth listening to. http://freakonomics.com/podcast/leicester-city/
  8. I wish him all the best. Although he's probably the best player I've seen in Leicester shirt, he never really seemed to have connected with our fans or our club. I'm glad he'll continue playing for premier league because he truly is a talent worth watching. Good luck NG!

Unfortunately I doublt there will be a bidding war for Kante. Clubs will be informed by Kante's agent as to who he wants to play for and therefore it's unlikely there will be many bids for him. It's in Kante's best interest to keep the transfer fee down so that he can demand higher wages and sign-on fee.

    Theo Walcott

Would absolutely take Theo Walcott in a heartbeat. In my opinion he's the only premier league striker who could equally match Jamie Vardy for pace & goals combined. You only have to look at our 5-2 defeat to Arsenal earlier in the season to see how similar he is to Jamie Vardy at times (ignoring his attitude and injury record)

Who do you want? Put it in here

I think we should go after Will Hughes. And do you know what, I think Derby would sell him to us for the right price.

    Stoke v Tottenham match thread

To me Stoke don't even look that interested in winning this game.
