it would be standard luck for us that man city get relegated to league 1 when we’re in it and desperate to go up

Actually…..  technically speaking… if they were relegated to league 1…. We may well actually be promoted by default  EDIT nopeeee Oxford finished above us lol

  2. I saw a very tenuous tumour that is so random there could actually be something in it. Kevin muscat.

He’s had a very tidy career as manager in Japan and china and was also in Belgium for a while…. Makes you wonder if our club would be aware of him and his achievements.

after a bit of reading on him,  I wouldn’t be against it at all, sounds like an attacking manager who knows how to win a division

  3. How many players will we have at the worldcup?

Just abdul and souttar? Apparntly clubs get 200k per player , denmark making it would have been the only useful contributions by vestergarde and VK couldnt even bring us some slight financial relief the tarts

Nixon reckons we’ve spoken to a lot of managers, thought we had one but still no announcement

It’s the same every time, we waste the first month talking with completely unrealistic options.

who do we think potter, Enzo, Parker, Southgate, Rafa?  They probably all got a call.

  5. You know how a few season ago we were chasing madueke, possibly for a couple of seasons…. How do you think he actually would have done for us?

He’s really not that good is he? I can’t imagine he would have been a superstar with us, because most of the time he just runs the ball out of play. Funny thing is, playing every game for us and hitting better numbers he wouldn’t have made the England team but because he’s at a big club he does

I actually said Bayern Munich a couple of weeks ago and got laughed at… but just for clarification, I wasn’t meaning as a nailed on starter, it’s just German teams seem to know how to develop a British talent quite well!

The bottom half of the league is a pretty low standard. Most are championship level, so it allows players to flourish and develop.

if you’re part of a good team and the opposition is weak you are able to practice a perfect game. In England there’s just more competitive balance on the whole which makes it harder for someone learning a trade. I don’t think a youngster does well in the lower end clubs in Germany. That’s my take on it anyway.

  7. We have a tough call to make with with Abdul. If we wait until after the World Cup to  sell him, we might make more money if he has a decent tournament…. Particularly if he does well against England.  But if he got a big injury it genuinely might screw up our whole season and we won’t have any money to rebuild with

    Did he call bilal aswell?

He was the most reliable source when we were in the prem. Called cooper extremely early. He called Ayew early. He was the first to say the cooper was pushing for older premier league experienced players and that played out exactly as he described.

He has been very right with takeover stuff at over clubs as well. He’s not always right but he’s a huge step above some of the other chancers out there….. there’s a bit of hope

    A heavy fine.

In a game with so much money doshing about, I don’t think a financially penalty is any real deterrent to possibly gain points.

Knowingly cheating to get an advantage, you deserve all you get.  For once, I think the efl have got this spot on. Especially adding in a points deduction for next season as obviously they may have gone on to lose in the playoffs anyway. They have compromised the whole league tbqh.

Targeting clubs who are in administration and already suffering with a points deduction is 1000 times worse than this.

  10. Funny thing is, it was common knowledge he was part of a team caught for this in Germany. It’s nothing new. He was assistant at koln and they were caught at that time, so either he was doing it then or he learnt it there.

Also some more conspiracy theory stuff but was analyst when Germany won the World Cup, who were accused of spying vs France. And more speculative but an at Barnsley when there manager went on a crazy unbeaten run. The manager( v. Ismael) never tried to work with him again and never had any form again either… makes you wonder if there may have been something going on again.

in honesty, this is one of those things that you could easily have got away with for donkeys but you’re always just one bad move away from getting caught. But most clubs would have just assumed a fan was trying to watch them and would ignore anyone they’d spot.

football is unpredictable and it definitely isn’t a definitive key to success, but if a club works on hand signals for certain set pieces it gives a huge advantage at stopping them. And anyone with decent tactical knowledge can unlock a defence if you know the shape they are planning to use. It’s a fascinating situation and I have to think with his pr he won’t work for a club in England again

but if any club would do it, it would be us

Just realise Woyo Coulibaly is playing for Sassuolo. Just made a massive defensive header to prevent a Lecce winner.

    Three minutes left...

Are we just going to loan him out until he leaves? I don’t need to watch any of him to know that he’s already better than any of our other senior fullbacks 😂
