I was waiting for this before making my travel arrangements for these 2 games.

So Friday night it is. Two possible outcomes are:

    1. We lose, get relegated, Millwall go up and we get taunted by 3000 cockneys

    2. We win, stay up, Millwall miss out on automatic promotion and 3000 cockneys are trying to kick our heads in

I´ve got to get to the railway station afterwards. I can´t run very fast now, but I´d still take the second option :frantics:

I'm pretty sure it will be something like this:

                              Jakub

    Ricardo    Lascelles   Nelson   Thomas

                       Skipp    Winks

       Fatawu        James       Mavididi

                             Daka

I think that is pretty much the best team we can put out having been through all the options.

  3. V QPR I  thought we played quite well for the first 25 minutes. Took the lead with a very good goal. Then looked completely shattered.  QPR then dominated and although they didn't really create chances just kept pressing knowing, like every other  team, Leicester would capitulate and gift goals. I said earlier Lascelles is the only answer to defending and that is a wild thought.

We’re in the mess we’re in because of the defence and we can only get out of it if Rowett somehow sorts out the defence. Last week he said that he would like to bring Lascelles in but didn’t feel he could break up the formidable Nelson-Okoli partnership. Well, nobody will complain if you break it up now, Gary. The interesting question is what he’ll do if both Lascelles and Vestergaard are available to play.

I think Lascelles and Nelson would be my choice for Watford.

    Yet, significantly better than Ricardo?

We dont have great options. Its either the OAP, the kid or Hamza. Choose your poison. But at least when Hamza is on it (and he has lots of days when hes all over the place) he has some physicality. I hate saying it, but he starts over Riccy and you rotate with Aluko. Riccy offers nothing right now.

I agree. Riccy is past it and makes far to many mistakes. Aluko cannot be good enough or he would have been given greater opportunities. Hamza tackles hard but his awareness is non existent. Tricky decision.

Our fans really need to stop the whining.

Yes it's shit at the moment. As fans, let's do our bit - roll up your sleeves and stop being whiney little bitches.

I agree about rolling up our sleeves, just not pink ones.

Hahahahah! 2 days ago you got laughed at for saying they should be out of the team.

Me?  I'm desperate to find a team to win a game. We can. James will  inspire us.

Looking at the fixtures of our relegation rivals. I think we are down , we may improve our form for the remainder of the past 13 games but we don’t have it in us to stay up. The players know it was a missed opportunity yesterday, other results are not going in our favor. Portsmouth are 6 points clear of us, Blackburn are 5 points clear of us. We need to win back to back games at a bare minimum to pull some other teams closer to us. WBA are the only team we can potentially catch up with, being one point above us, but their next two games are winnable: Charlton (h) and Oxford (a).

The worst case scenario is for the club to cease to exist. Not happening.

There is invariably a 'white knight' who comes in to relieve clubs of owners who've given up. Sometimes takes a little while, but nearly always one shows up.

    Hope you're right:fc:
