Wrong player
Ok who did we sign 14 seconds late?

This has Dennis Praet vibes to it. Did we lodge our appeal 14 seconds before the expiry date which gave the PL time to press their button.
-
Shouldn't the latest appeals process be addressed in the order they are received. Therefore man city should be next on the list as they have been on it for longer.
-
Surely the PL are acting wrongly in that they back dated the rules so we now fit in with them. Also seems suspicious that both appeals are on the same day.

Must have been the seventies (again) and I was on the train and it broke down between Loughborough and Leicester. Willy Carlin and Bobby Kellard were both on it too. Last saw them running across the field next to the train towards a small road. They got to the game before I did.

Went to a Wembley concert in the seventies and managed to get some Wembley turf from under the covering. Took it in a matchbox to every home FA cup game and and prayed with it in front of the Filbert street road sign. Never worked of course. Had lost it by the time we won it.

Everyone happy with this?

On the way to the ground I buy my lucky mints. Overall been quite successful. Not so much lately. On the way back nah

I watched the game this evening and it was very enjoyable as a neutral. Thought Coventry bullied Boro 1st half and Boro dominated second half. Clearly the best two teams in the championship. Sadly the standard and quality of their defences is awful. If they go up they will come straight back down. A reminder of how far we are behind.

We know we're in deep relegation problems. We need to get behind the team now. Please let's get together and push this team to safety. Get rid of problems in the summer.

I think he's "injured " because he's embarrassed to play alongside Okoli and that will ruin his future prospects.

Went to Cleethorpes to see relatives. Grimsby ground was 5 minutes away. Last into the ground. Sat on the back row. When Muzzy scored I jumped up smashed my hands into the roof. Painful experience. Couldn't see the ball above 10 metres.

Been looking a little deeper into this
The clubs administrative cost went up from £17.5m to £22.3 m. a rise of £4.8 m in 2021. The clubs explanation said that the costs were down to 1) The opening of Seagrave and 2) An increase in rates following withdraw of the removal of some of the Covid Business Rate discount which at most I believe would have been at most £250k .
So I think fair to say that as a minimum in 21/22 the cost of Seagrave was a minimum of £4.5 millionSince then as we all know from our own household expenditure every thing costs more . From an employers perspective the additional NIC and increases in wages will have added a further chunk.
I am revising my guess as to how much Seagrave is costing in cash terms to between £5&6 million PA.
So not affordable for a league 1 club.

Remember Cov during their problems had to sell there training grounds to Wasps.
I wonder if the Tigers would be interested in part owning Seagrave, make it joint training venue.
Where do tigers train now? Excellent thought though.

My feeling is this place could drag us into administration if a solution to the issue is not addressed soon. Good idea at the time to help us produce great academy footballers rather than buying them in but unfortunately we did both resulting our current predicament. Can't think of a viable alternative to Seagrave as conversion to a hotel I don't think would work. Only selling the club can fix this I think

We’d probably just not use as many pitches. , have a few less staff..
This place cost £100m but I assume you're not quite being serious 🤔

If relegation happens can we sustain this facility. Could we sell it? Who would want it?

Nah. Just let the dog enjoy his retirement and let the young hungry dogs play right back.
Nice way to put it actually 👍

I know that we have all loved Ricky P.
BUT this thread not being commented on since the 24th January is criminal.
If Thomas makes such an obvious mistake, his thread would have had an additional 5 pages by now.
I have got to the point where I don’t want to see Ricky P play for us anymore….just start Aluko already.
Sadly I agree

Is lascelles ready to play tomorrow, will Aluko start and is Mukasa ready?

Well the delay in the points deduction is perfect timing for the PL. No need last season as we were down from the start. Now gives us little time to recover. No manager. Possibly league 1 next season. Their revenge would be complete. I wonder if the 4 new signings were informed of this situation. Hopefully but if not I'm not expecting 100% from them.

It happened on the way to (or from) the ground
