Where's Fatawu?
-
Most players have a major injury during their career. I look forward to seeing him play. Think he has attributes that would help us. I remember him playing for Oz. Strong in the air and a good passer of the ball. Just what we need.
-
He should be inverting when we have possession and rb when defending. Problem is we lose possession quickly and he's moved into midfield leaving huge gaps. He also dives in too quickly and his passing is now poor. New full backs required. Nelson on the other hand is class. Only one in the back 4 who is!

Anyone know why the post match thread has only reached 7 pages 👀😂
Because we won

Yes developing well in a short period of time. Think we will see this with Monga too. Explosive start but now getting to grow into the reality of championship football.
-
Wow. Amazing how views of this club vary.
-
Yes MOTM. I like the way he brings the ball out quickly and effectively breaks the press. Has a little error in him but these will go with experience. Has it all to go all the way.

I was on that 10.30pm train. Jammed solid but no problems from the derby fans. Don't know what the police were trying to do. Loughborough foxes fans also on that train.

I will never stop watching my team. Seen the worst of years into L1 and then PL winners. I will never desert my team.

I think everyone on here agreed that he picked the best team, one that had been improving. When that team contains players capable of making big mistakes this is what happens. Unfortunately with no cash to improve the team this is the pattern for the future. It will be slow progress. Get used to it.

Was looking forward to this game. Thought we had just turned a corner but all the weaknesses were hidden temporally. All out again though. Both Physically and mentally weak. Poor quality players making big mistakes.

You are far to sensible. Chinese takeaway and 25% asda discount wines tonight. Best performance in ages dispite the cockup. Feeling much happier tonight. Will never buy club food and drink though 😄

Can't really believe any of you are Leicester fans. You all moan about the team being negative and are totally negative about everything else

They seem to be having more possession now and to many headers

Newport looked rubbish, so disorganised, Braybrooke a class above anyone else.
Although he's getting valuable playing time I don't think his development will be helped with such poor teammates around him.
I think he'd be better off back in Leicester now, as long as he can be guaranteed a reasonable amount of playing time.
Baybrooke was ok but nothing more. A winks clone. No strength, pace or domination of midfield. This against a national league team. I watched the game but was really disappointed with him. Fuchs has his work cut out. Not sure why he took this job.

Think he loves us. He's ours.

Amazed he hasn’t tried this front three yet amid our striking woes, worth a go.
Give all three of them license to roam where they want and positional fluidity - ya know that thing he talked about being in his philosophy.
Hamza and Winks should not be starting.

Yeah, that was Top. Top saw a bald bloke and was like “oh Hi Lee, always been an admirer. How would you like the top job of rebuilding our culture and a few million a year?”.
Hi Lee unlikely

Yes MC could be doing better but the reality is, during the promotion season two years ago, Vardy and KDH provided 60 goal/assists and Hermanson saved 10 more goals. Daka and Skip have provided 2 goal/ assists this season whilst the goalkeeper is saving less. The squad is so much weaker with no money for replacements. Plus the potential points deduction is making us a less attractive club to join. MC has gone through all of the permutations in player selection including the latest in Aluko but the squad is simply not good enough in terms of quality and physicality. This season and beyond will be transitional until the over paid players leave and the academy players develop.

Can we get Fatawu and Faes to have a fight

I hope Aluko does well but I have never seen him live and I don't think many people on here have either. So the clamouring for him to play is baseless. I suggest the manager has the judgement to decide as he sees him every day.

He's a local Leicester lad but just not good enough unfortunately. Been around for a while here and on loan but not progressed. On a 4 year contract now. More poor management. Kristianson is no better. Aluko needs to be given a chance

I didn’t watch any of today’s match but it sounds like it followed a familiar pattern, I find it fascinating how there can be no coherent style. Surely after training all week there would be some patterns of play and some joined up plan but nope.
I expected a thoroughly mediocre season because we are a shit show, I didn’t expect one because the manager seemly has no clue how to get us out of second gear.
How can you comment if you haven't seen any of the game. I find ignorance like this incredible.

Getting a little bit worried about Ricardo as he seems to be getting booked very early in the games.

Has he played well enough today to play against the championship leaders next w/e?
