  1. He's got longer than 6 months left to be fair (signed new deal last season until 2028) but yeah.
  2. I'm sure I'm not the only person who gets asked what has actually gone so badly wrong at the club and it's difficult to be able to provide a good answer so I propose we club together to put all of our reasons of our downfall into one succinct post. I'll add a few off the top of my head to get the ball rolling but otherwise fire away and I'll add to the list. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sold our best player and thought we could replace him before the window shut. Missed the deadline to sign Adrien Silva by 14 seconds. Went from Rodgers to Smith to Maresca to Cooper to Van Nistelrooy with each manager being completely different to the last. Refused to pay the £14m fee for Ademola Lookman. One year later he's nominated for the Balon d'Or. Promised a review of the failings that resulted in our relegation in 2023 yet no outcome is shared with the fans. £25 million pounds for Oliver Skipp. No transfer funds made available despite being in 18th position. Invited the entire nation of Thailand to celebrate winning a division we shouldn't have been in with actual fans shafted. Over £130m worth of players in Tielemans, Soyuncu, Amartey, Evans and Perez being left to walk for free. Allowed Schmeichel to leave in the summer of 2022 and did not replace him, basically relegating us that season. Arranged for a pre-season friendly against Spurs in monsoon season in Thailand. The game was inevitably rained off, and Spurs couldn't reschedule so a behind-closed-doors friendly against a Thai team (Port FC) had to hastily be arranged. Iheanacho missed a vital Europa League game against Warsaw (that we ended up losing) because the club couldn't correctly organise his passport. Banning a large number of supporters for little to no reason. Putting multiple obstacles in UFS's path despite the fact their only objective is to support the team. £25 tax on supporters who want a physical season card as opposed to an e-ticket. The scandal with BC Game and the fact the board are doubling down on their decision to take their money. The out of control wage bills crippling the club. Examples like £100k a week for Connor Coady. We all watched as Jannik Vestergaard wasn't anywhere near good enough in the Premier League only to give him a deal that will keep him here until he's 35. Turning down a "substantial offer" for Kasey McAteer from Sunderland when he's out of favour and would represent 'pure profit' in terms of PSR. Rejecting an offer for Daniel Iversen in 2023 from Crystal Palace for £4m. He's played 0 times for us since then and will leave for nothing in the summer. Failed to agree a break cause in January for Odsonne Edouard's loan from Palace, despite the fact that we previously loaned out Luke Thomas to a Prem club (Sheff United) and let them have a clause to terminate in January, so were perfectly aware that it was a thing and might be a good idea.
  3. Looking forward to him being reintroduced into the team in 4/5 games times again. I suspect it'll be Coady's turn to play next.
  4. It won't happen. There's no new low for the club to reach so if it was going to happen then it already would have done. Any new manager we get in now is likely to be desperate and there isn't a coaching set up that could realistically take us through the last 11 games in a caretaker capacity. We've just got to grin and bear it while the board sit there unchallenged again.
  5. If there needs to be a change then it needs to be in the boardroom. Nothing will change while Top, Rudkin and Whelan are decision makers at this club.
  6. I don't think Ruud is good enough but what is the end result we hope to achieve by sacking him? The new manager still has Ayew, BDCR, Mavididi or Buonanotte to choose from as wingers. Justin, Coulibaly, Kristiansen or Thomas for fullbacks. Vardy, Edouard or Daka up front. Okoli, Vestergaard, Faes or Coady at centre half. Soumare, Winks, Skipp or Ndidi in midfield etc etc etc. The squad is diabolical. It is a million miles away from even the bare minimum needed to compete in this division. Sacking Ruud does nothing but cost us money. We are going down, the club made that decision in January.
  7. The minutes from that sham of a meeting that Foxes Trust posted on here the other day didn't read well for anyone wanting extensive safe standing at the KP.
  8. Mate don't do it to yourself. Accept that it's going to be the 100 year old front 3 in a 4-2-3-1. It's easier this way.
  9. I just did a predictor where I thought I was being favourable to us and harsh towards Wolves and it ended up with us still in 19th and 15 points behind them. We're so ****ed.
  10. Nah. I think it ends up being a mutual agreement at the end of the season. The problems at the club run so much deeper than him.
  11. Plenty available in the home end.
  12. Depends if Ayew and BDCR are starting together!
  13. My excitement entirely depends on what happens at 18:45.
  14. Starting the expansion when it looks like we'll spend the next decade outside of the top flight is exactly the sort of thing this board would do.
  15. Pukka Pies are shit. I've not heard anyone say that they're happy the quality has gone down the pan in favour of supporting a business that turns over tens of millions each year.
  16. "Pukka Pies well received – particularly due to it supporting a local business." Genuine question. Who the **** thinks this?
  17. Painful to watch just how shit this Wolves side is yet know that we won't get near them. The bar was so low yet we still couldn't clear it.
  18. My only worry is we get relegated at the City Ground. Hopefully it's wrapped up before then.
  19. Another thing I noticed at the game on Friday was that we spent the majority of the game displaying a massive logo of a betting firm on the big screens (a different one to BC Game). Has this been going all season with me just oblivious or was that new for Friday? https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/partnerships-club "Remember to Gamble Aware (but also bet, bet, bet, bet)."
  20. I don't have a particular issue with Ayew. But he has to be the 4th attacker. Almost an enabler to allow more attacking players to flourish. Like an Albrighton or a Perez. Someone that works their arse off to allow others to win you the game. Playing him with BDCR is a waste of time and it's so easy to play against.
  21. Green = Look to keep/nobody will be interested. Amber = Actively look to sell. Red = Release/don't extend loan. Danny Ward James Justin Wout Faes Conor Coady Caleb Okoli Wilfred Ndidi Abdul Fatawu Harry Winks Jamie Vardy Stephy Mavididi Bilal El Khannouss Bobby De Cordova-Reid Harry Souttar Victor Kristiansen Jordan Ayew Patson Daka Ricardo Pereira Oliver Skipp Jannik Vestergaard Boubakary Soumaré Woyo Coulibaly Odsonne Édouard Mads Hermansen Daniel Iversen Luke Thomas Michael Golding Kasey McAteer Facundo Buonanotte Jakub Stolarczyk Sammy Braybrooke
