We are missing that man in the centre of the park, who can take three elegant touches, slow the game to walking pace, and then pass it backwards with the confidence of a man reinventing football! He may turn like a cruise ship, stuck in the Suez Canal but we’ve really missed that world class tracking! He’d spot the danger, give it a thoughtful five seconds, and then maybe decide to jog after them. Bring him on. This game has had far too much quality so far.
