So we’d realistically be looking at Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Algeria or DR Congo if we win the group.
-
First 20 of the 2nd half was on par with 5-1 against Germany, or 4-1 against Netherlands.

What a goal that is

Pickford worries me so much

On top of a kitchen island is purely random as well.

Over to Emma Hayne and her classroom chalkboard.

We need you to say on Tunchel Watch

I enjoyed the USA game.

I was just thinking that. If you’re a neutral, this has maybe been the most enjoyable game.

It’s like when you went to the touch line for pointless information on an injury on FIFA back in the day.

I think a better goalkeeper saves it. I’m convinced our defence is what sees us get dumped out in early knockout stage. You could make an argument that a team featuring Maguire, Foden, Palmer, Hall, Colwill, Ramsdale etc who are also very solid but average but would give this team a game.

I’d still shag her. We can discuss 4-4-2 after

Emma Hayes has more tactical nouse than Cooper, Van Nistelrooy, Cifuentes, Rowett and Martin combined.

Kin Commercial Break. They should have banned advertising during them.

We are really lucky to get another chance to retake that. That first penalty was utter shite.
-
I think we’re the weakest we’ve been for years at centreback. I do think we are massively overhyped this year and could easily get taken apart by a team like Iceland again.

This Portugal team should be built around Fernandes. Ronaldo shouldn’t be playing.
-
Wan Bassaka has had an excellent game

They kill any momentum that teams have going. They’re stupid in games like this.
-
Congo have played really well

Football may as well just get played out in the courts at this stage. This is getting, really, really boring. When can we claim against Manchester City and missing out on becoming an elite club? Or how David Speedie dived, costing us Premier League millions? Or Johnson’s dive in the 5th round of the FA Cup for Chelsea which knocked us out? Emotional damage caused by Troy Deeneey. Consequential losses by figment of imagination is just stupid.

https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/leeds-legal-action-leicester-burnley-everton-landmark-victory-hc9v30g97 https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/leeds-united-considering-legal-action-192500353.html Leeds United are considering taking legal action against Leicester City as the Elland Road club explore how the Foxes’ Profitability and Sustainability Rules’ issues affected two of their seasons, according to The Times. Leeds got relegated in 2022-23 alongside Leicester, while the Foxes gained automatic promotion back to the Premier League in 2023-24, with the West Yorkshire club losing in the play-offs. Leicester were docked six points last season after they were charged by the Premier League for breaking spending thresholds in 2023-24. They won an appeal against an alleged breach of PSR regulations for the 2022-23 season in September 2024, arguing that the Premier League had acted outside of its jurisdiction. Leeds believe they could have stayed up in both seasons and will look to draw parallels from Burnley’s compensation victory over Everton earlier this month. The Clarets argued that they would have avoided Premier League relegation in 2022 had the Everton’s six-point punishment for breaking PSR been applied during the season of the breach (2022-23) and not in 2023-24. The Toffees have been ordered to pay Burnley almost £40 million, and Leeds are hoping to get a similar compensation from Leicester.
