Given the state of our directors, we won’t be appointing anyone till late July/early August at the earliest imo. They’ve probably been begging Enzo not to leave for the past 2 weeks hence the passive aggressive statement today and won’t have any idea of who we can afford to bring in (plus backroom staff) till the accounts are finalised at the end of this month.

Faes has been absolute awful for weeks….if we lose tonight he is culpable just as much as Enzo can’t change a game

We play so much we a ‘we just need to turn up and we’ll win this’. We were awful tonight and Wednesday weren’t much better. Crap game but at least we didn’t lose it

Thought they played for a draw and got a win. Need to remind ourselves teams are going to put everyone behind the ball and hope they nick it. Enzo needs to start working on a plan B when things aren’t going our way.

Pearson’s job wasn’t to find talent. Steve Walsh’s was. You’ve highlighted it. Agree Pearson gets an average side playing well, but to have him in a director’s role is bonkers. He’d upset far too many people he would have to pretend to like. It’s a different level off the pitch and upstairs with board members and away from the players. He’s not suited to that type of role.

Yeah I can see it now…Enzo asks for a ball playing midfielder who can challenge Winks for a starting place. We end up resigning Marty James 🙄 Never understood the Pearson obsession that some of our fans have. Let’s all move on now he’s left another job shall we.
