  1. And the same from me too!Proud to know we are famous across the world. Thanks
  2. I thought it was good on tv. Hardly heard them, and when they sang bubbles it got drowned out. What happened to the new song from Sk1 ? It was a lot quieter than previous game. We really need a song for each player - even those who are not popular! It's a historic record breaking system, and we can't even sing all players' names in a song. I know it's too cheesy now, and wouldn't last due to the attention span of some fans, but the dead old "We've got the best team in the land" covers the job!
  3. I lost respect for Souness 2 or 3 months ago, when we said at some game covered by Sky, that we could not win the league- like Lauro, no logic - he just said with that miserable dour attitude, we could not win it. Prat. On the subject, remember Mourinho before he was sacked, saying that our manager and our players knew they couldn't win it. It would be funny if one of the tv channels ran a collection of the pundits' comments who said we wouldn't , after we do it.
  4. I thought it was good for most of the game on Sky - only heard them a couple of times, and then they were drowned out. For those of you lucky enough to be at the games, just enjoy these times and sing all game- remind yourself it is very probable that after we win the league , we can not repeat the feat ever again.
  5. Listening to the stream it sounded fine for most of the game. The clappers really fill the sound out on tv. I think for some of you there , if you're right in , or next to the singing you don't appreciate how it sounds collectively. We're still a lot better than most prem grounds.
  6. I know, you're right. Just have an old out of date hope that fans of the big clubs wouldn't begrudge a smaller club a brief glimpse of glory. Silly me. Nice to remember the Man city fans above the tunnel clapping us off last week, and the Geordies clapping JV off.
  7. Wow- surprised at those 2 stupid Arsenal fans' comments- how bias us football fans can be! They just don't get we can never match them at tippy tappy football, so have to play at the highest tempo. They ignore the disgraceful play acting of their superstars, gesturing for cards and they only won from 3 poor decisions by our players. Win at any cost eh Arsenal ? Pathetic.
  8. Funny, on my stream I thought we were alright. You could hear our songs for most of the game, but bit quiet for a while after they scored. They sang same old 3 or 4 songs - not surprised they would be louder when they did sing- big game playing the top team, Boxing Day, full house, get behind the team from the start after poor defeat at Watford and Team responded to Kloop and got amongst us.
  9. I agree entirely, but at Ipswich on Saturday (and Millwall away), we didn't even sing more than a few songs copied off other teams - top of the charts was come on Leicester, followed by Leicester (amazing grace) and different versions of I wanna go home.Come to think of it, back in my day (the 70s) don't think we had any original songs anyway. Norwich, Birmingham, Leeds still have their unique song they have sang for decades. I like the European songs now sung at English games, but then that's also copying. Is the problem that either modern songs just don't have a hook, or don't reach as much of the population as songs/tunes used to?
  10. How about old school : LC, LCF, LCFC, OK. Simple, easy to remember (ha ha ), loud - nice to hear Man U singing during a televised game earlier in season. Still on old songs, why don't we sing a version of Land of Hope 'n Glory?
  11. How about to tune of Nick nack paddy wack ( you know, "Uni ted ....... united are the team ....." etc ) and start really slowly : - Nug Ent ( emphasise the eeeeeeee) David score a goal for me, with a goodbye Holloway I've got a bone ( for the exhibitionists amongst us!) Forest blaggards fvck off home. Apologies if its used already! I always think it's 1 of the loudest Man u chants.
  12. Unless its being done already, how about "Pel tier ............ Pel tier" to the "Liv er pool........ Liv er pool " chant - easy and current.
