  1. Even got a shop on Oxford Street London!
  2. I know but hope you did/do - I like this thread as it’s gives us a sense of whether we’re assessing the players in a way similar to other fans.
  3. And you can just tell with how he runs with the ball that he is very talented and comfortable. He will be very good.
  4. Me too, and probably of the game but of course Sky have to give it to one of them……
  5. Oh shurrup and enjoy the moment of not losing and scoring 2! Probably coz KM had just took a knock and run his socks off for 96 minutes.
  6. A few nice counter attacks but allowing too much easy chances for them. Mav had a good half apart from once when he should have passed with 2 men free
  7. Just asking for a friend , who wasn’t scored in a long time in their team? He says he’s got a cast iron investment opportunity…..
  8. Watching the Citeh- Shilton, Wortho, Weller etc. Thinking all the time about the next time and nothing else.
  9. That one chance we had 2nd half where FB over hit the pass to JA just summed us up. A confident FB would have probably took a shot himself, but in trying too hard over hit the pass.
  10. So in your pro sport experience how wound you handle it? The whole world can see that HW has been poor for months, and that potentially he appears to be a much better player than he is showing. RVN played at the very highest level, no one can deny, in 1 of the best MU teams under the best MU manager. However, you make a wild assumption about him being an egoistic bully- how do you know anything about him? He’s a poor manager/ coach and we have a crap team and supporters. That doesn’t automatically mean he’s another BR self interest fantasist. All I can judge him on is his pressers, which I think he handles very well , and the crap results . Personally I think he should be sacked now for the disastrous run , and struggle on with AK and the coaches until end of season with a change in approach of trying to at least score some goals.
  11. Ruud is the current manager, so entirely up to him. He sees the players every day and believes he/the club could get more out of HW if he stays over for 1 night. It’s clear to us of us that HW isn’t match fit or can’t be bothered to put in max effort ( remember the embarrassing slating he got from Robbie S at WHU away). Plus at the moment the team is really bad and underperforming. In the past we were winning and successful.
  12. Bloody hell that’s so depressing. Also very reckless, and potentially dangerous.
  13. “Suuupah Suupah Steve …..” sang with passion- heard it in the toilets in old Wembley Way before the play off final and after on the way back to the station - sends a shiver!
  14. Loved it first time I heard his song sung with Lestah accents!
  15. I thought all crap tonight ( well at least Mav put some energy in for a bit) but really disappointed in BK and FB; really off form. Vesty for the first goal rightly crucified by TNT, and the Winks recovery jog in 2nd half were particularly low points.
  16. Completely agree. Horrible feeling like this , ain’t it.
  17. I’m thinking of going … but then sensible head is saying why bother - just watch at home and avoid the misery of getting home at 1 am
  18. What really frustrates mean is that there is rarely a sudden burst of energy with real intent , like the JV effort in the 1st half when he made their CB look stupid, and the FB dribble and run on second half.
  19. I’ve thought that too. There was a home game this season , can’t remember the team, where they came out early and did little mini passing drills. Makes sense to me to get the players right on it from kick off
  20. It feels like it doesn’t it. In those Seagrave clips we mostly see the quick passing drills on a mini pitch with normal sized goals. From last night we need back to basic how to legally fight and win 2nd ball battles and be stronger when defending
  21. Manager confidence - ouch! why do we give away so many soft goals.
  22. I wonder if players are over coached, or playing in fear and within themselves, desperate not to make a mistake. Your example of Vesty is spot on- at least Mav could try to run at their defence , just mix it up a bit , keeping the defender guessing. At times Mav shows he had the pace . That dribble from FB 2nd half was exciting and about the only moment to get the crowd going.
