Graham Stack played for Chesham United last year but was an unused sub for Arsenal in 01-02. Scrolled through the teams that played us that season and can't see anyone else fitting the bill. Konchesky last played non-league three years ago.

India are just going to be too good for everyone at home aren't they. -
Don't worry, if they get in and that comes to pass then I'll be absolutely voicing my outrage about it. Probably best we give them a chance to actually make things better first before casting judgement though, eh? The guy's doing what he has to do to win an election in our system and I don't like that any more than you do - plenty of what he and the shadow cabinet say makes me baulk - but it's laughable that anyone who claims to be left of centre wouldn't do anything they can at this stage to get rid of the lot we've had to endure for the past 13 years.

Good for you. Enjoy the moral high ground if/when the most morally-bankrupt government in our history remain in power. I'm sure the people who are struggling for cash, food and warmth right now will really thank you for that principled stand.

By who though, a few divs on Twitter? That's the first time I've ever seen that nickname. If The Trussell Trust start calling him that then I'll reconsider my opinion on the bloke. Again, I don't mind him backtracking on policy right now if it means a few more Tories in swing seats change their votes. Let's worry about how he does if he actually starts backtracking from policies when he has the power to enact them from Downing Street.

Honestly couldn't give a flying fvck about how many pledges he breaks to self-important Labour members (and I say that as one of them) as long as he gets in with a whacking great majority and starts changing the lives of the poor folk across this country who desperately need their help.
-
In theory yes, but he'll need to bring some personality out in the election campaign. It's a shame but it is something a good proportion of the electorate put a great deal of stock in.
-
Oh, I absolutely get why he errs on the side of caution. As the OP says though, it feels like he could be connecting so much better without sacrificing any hint of the "sane man at the wheel" image.
-
He's just far too cautious on the public stage, comes across as petrified of making a mistake. Take that tweet about Arsenal the ither day: "Right in the 86th minute." Rightly ripped as a typical example of a politician faking a love of football. Like... come on man, you're a genuine, matchgoing fan who walks from the pub to the ground before games and who plays 6-a-side every week - and *that's* what you put out? Get a new social media guy ffs.
-
1. That's not correct. 2. That means we suffer too when we go to their place. Not exactly like us fans are having the last laugh when our respective clubs can't agree.

No accreditation for any Pakistani journalists either from what I've read. Absolute disgrace. -
Being a football fan appatently means defending absolutely everything to do with your club these days.
-
Really is astonishing how often this kind of thing happens.

Speaking as a former left-arm seamer, that's a dense review from a left-arm seamer. -

It's historically been a problem with World Cups, dating back to the 2007 tournament that was beyond the range of many ordinary West Indian crowds. Last time round the prices were very steep too for a lot of the group games. Wanted to do a few myself and only ended up making two because I wasn't prepared to pay what was being charged for most of the matches. -

Decent enough start today. Again, such a shame to see how empty the ground looks. -
Does anyone have experience of applying for Irish citizenship? My wife's trying to sort hers and have a couple of questions.

Amazing boundary catches really are just par for the course these days now, aren't they. -
That's a shame. Tend to flip between that and Tiger if I fancy a winter pint these days, though Sunchaser always wins out if on a session or it's a summer's day.

I get your point that leaving early has always happened to some degree - I agree - but you seriously can't say that it used to happen on this scale in the circumstances I've described before recent years. The only time you'd see that kind of mass exodus was if we were taking an absolute hammering at home.
-
We've been seeing large groups of fans walking out, whatever the context of the game, for a number of years now - even in situations where we've been pushing for last-minute winners and so on. There have been numerous issues over the years where roadworks have affected journeys away from the ground over the years and there was never the kind of mass exodus we now see every week.
-
Not to anywhere near the same extent though.
-
The crap roads and public transport links have always been there though. This has only started happening in the past few years.
-
Did they not have any of the special ales Everard's do on? Some of the ones they've done recently have been good.

Love how often ball gets on top in the pressure of World Cups, even in this shit format.
