  1. Some serious stump-scattering, that.
  2. Seen him twice. Absolutely brilliant.
  3. Harsh. He tried really hard to get Trenter Percenter more for Maddison and Barnes than we ended up getting.
  4. People tried it last year after we were relegated and the dead brains in our fanbase tried to fight them for doing so. Reckon you'd get less pushback if you tried to sing against the manager who has us cruising most games at the top of the league.
  5. This is part of the problem. Always a rush to be the first to get a chant going for Insta cred, even if it's muck like the Cannon one. We have originality in us - I just wish we believed it more. (For what it's worth, this definitely isnt just a Leicester problem).
  6. Yeah they usually go that way. And they're all jarring beyond belief. One of the worst modern football song templates in a very crowded field.
  7. Rhyming Sensi with Sensi and Sensi... genius.
  8. The thing is, though, that you're meant to romanticise stuff when you're shit. Getting on the back of a manager and team who are cruising the league in a way that's likely unprecedented in our club's history is demented.
  9. Going to Shower Test this in a bit. Never wanted a song to pass it more in my life.
  10. It's four lines long and one of those lines is the player's name being repeated three times. Hardly fvcking Beowulf, is it?
  11. If people aren't up for singing while we're top of the league and beating all-comers purely because they're spending their time still thinking about the previous manager, then frankly they're beyond help.
  12. Green jacket, bottom right corner.
  13. Carl Crowe's getting a fair bit of credit for his work with Tom Hartley at the moment.
  14. The last point is crucial. We've always felt the need to put stock in that for spinners, but never with seamers. Tufnell probably one of the few exceptions, but I always thought Jason Brown from the same era would have got a few caps if he hadn't been a complete bunny. He definitely would now.
  15. Nothing yet. I'll let you all know if anything comes of it. It's my aunty's funeral this morning, so doubt it'll be today (some run of luck, eh?). Thank you all for your concern though.
  16. Oh no. However will we all cope without his "class support, from a Birmingham fan" post on the Footyawaydayzbanterladofficial Facebook page.
  17. Proper Shannon Gabriel shot from Siraj there, too. Test cricket, eh? The best.
  18. No idea. It's a complete mystery to him.
  19. Hi all, My dad had his car nicked from Saffron Lane during the game yesterday, sometime between 10.50am and 5pm. It's a silver Toyota Rav 4 with black roof and alloys. Reg: WO19 VTC. Slim chance anybody here saw anything, but drop me a DM if you did please. Thanks.
  20. The fact is there were a load more there than there would have been without general sale. A 28,000 attendance does not equate to "empty seats all over". If you want to use that phrase justifiably, have a look around at 85+ minutes most league games.
  21. Straight to Sandhurst if you have #COYI in it too.
  22. Not their fault, though. They're constantly being told it means less by pundits and managers like Klopp. Delighted he's going purely on the grounds that his annual whingefest about replays will stop. You still see kids with tinfoil FA Cups at games and young lads invading pitches when lower league sides claim scalps. The magic is still there - it just needs those at the top to believe it too.
  23. Yes, I'd be willing to die in an Eastern European ditch. The sacrifice would be worth it just to see the satisfaction on the faces of people who never faced conscription themselves, but constantly feel the need to call for its reintroduction. They're the real heroes.
  24. I was lucky enough to be at Wembley in 2021. Now, I want tens of thousands of us to be able to experience that same feeling. For that reason alone, we should always take it seriously whatever our situation in the league.
  25. Relieved Pope's found some form, purely because he needs to be a solid selection as he's likely the only option for the captaincy when Stokes calls it a day. Well done to Rehan for helping see him through until the end of the day too.
