  1. Aussies v Windies far more interesting. Aissies declared 22 behind to have a pop in the dark.
  2. Just hope this experience isn't going to Simon Kerrigan the careers of Rehan or Hartley. Chucking one into this Test was understandable, but both feels like too much.
  3. A trip to Brucciani's, a gawp at the toy train going around Domino's and a fresh apple from Lineker's stall. Think I've managed to successfully block out that all of those moments were also usually associated with "back to school" shopping in town.
  4. Please report this. If you know the time and location, there's every chance your neighbours will have doorbell or dashcam footage that will help convict this scumbag. Witnessed two similar incidents around ten years ago - one where a guy was battering the woman in broad daylight and the other where he actually tried to attack me because I was helping his victim pick up the pieces of her phone that he'd thrown out the window. Sadly, nothing ever came of either even though police were involved and I gave statements - the first incident was in broad daylight and witnessed by dozens, while in the second I was able to name the cvnt and was also technically a victim of assault too. Even so, it only becomes a problem for these fvcking wasters who batter women if we as a society make it a problem for them by reporting any instance we see of it. Please let the police know. It might not help the poor girl you saw, but every time it's recorded it makes it more likely that something - anything - might get done to stop these absolute cvnts from preying on vulnerable women.
  5. Cobb's gone to Worcestershire, thankfully. https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/county-cricket-premium/josh_cobb_talks_worcestershire_deal_northamptonshire_exit.html
  6. It's why the "it's the style of football" excuse-makers make me laugh. We all know what the alternative would be and we all know the same people would be using that as an excuse too.
  7. I actually rate their cricket coverage - just wish they'd put the commentary on the main station!
  8. Especially bizarre with Wood the only seamer. They can't do to him what they did to Archer or the poor bloke will break down within 10 overs.
  9. A genuinely ridiculous situation. It's about time the cricket world woke up to this.
  10. Donation details here if you want bigger displays all the time: http://www.unionfs.co.uk/
  11. I'd wager it'd be exactly the same if we were top of the league winning 4-3 every week with proper caution-to-the-wind stuff. If your theory was right, the ground would still be full and loud when we're pushing for last-minute winners now. It isn't. Style of football on offer is the lamest excuse going when that style is producing *winning* football.
  12. Every club may play it, but no other club would have the issues we have if they were top of the league while playing it. It's a ridiculous excuse. I'd have more respect if people just came out and said they've no interest in singing and don't care if it helps the team or not. At least they'd be being honest.
  13. Don't you claim to drum along to the lyrics "hope I die before I get old" for a living on Twitter?
  14. No doubt the same simpletons who sang "champions of Europe, you weren't even born"... at a club who have never been champions of Europe.
  15. Absolute clowns. I'd say they're complete robots, but robots understand logic. Makes me so angry.
  16. Rehan's brother bowling to Leicestershire's Jamie Dunk in the U19 World Cup at the moment.
  17. Epinal Way in Loughborough. Dreadful drag.
  18. I reckon a United Ireland might be one that happens in my lifetime.
  19. Don't think that's ever happened in our entire history, which in itself is quite surprising.
  20. Meant to mention those tours are well worth doing. Our guide was a bit calmer, mind!
  21. Exactly. Make your end truly "your end" that you're never gonna have to make way for. End of the day, the players won't give a flying fvck about whether you're disappointed you couldn't shout something unoriginal at people from a different part of the country every fortnight as long as you've given them the support they need.
  22. Was all to do with the most-watched Premier League games by postcode area. Leicestershire was one of the few areas where the local team actually was dominant, if I remember rightly.
  23. Same as you'd get in any other town around the country, really. Always found the Nags fuller if we're on than anyone else is. You do get a few Arsenal fans about (including one branch of my mum's side) due to being descended from evacuees who were sent there from North London during the war, and then stayed in the area after and married into local families.
  24. Commenting on it again now. Gotta feel for the ref, not much you can really do is there?
