Is 'Varney' instead of Vardy some joke I'm not getting? People on the Everton forum were calling him that, as were people on the Liverpool forum from the other day, and now I'm reading people on the Crystal Palace forum calling him Varney
I think that was just Man U fans taking over the thread and downvoting anything to suggest that they deserved to lose, because in the other match threads I've noticed most people said we look quite good. I was talking about a mod on /r/FantasyPL telling people to avoid our players because 'Leicester are crap.' (based entirely on shots conceded stats) and that Ulloa won't continue scoring goals because 'When its luck driven performance rather than skill driven performance, it never lasts.'
Well I have like 8 posts and they're all in that thread, correcting misconceptions and telling them how their academy players are doing now, and they all seem reasonable in that thread. Seem to think that we'll be more of a challenge than QPR were but that they'll edge it out, which is practically the same as everybody on here is saying
The majority of the people there seem well informed so it seems a bit pointless to link there only for some of our more reactionary fan base to turn up and make us look cocks because one person said that
It's not as bad as I was expecting actually. The guy who looks like Knockaert needs to learn that there's more to rapping than mumbling as quickly as possible though
That being said the last two minutes are terrible
Edit: Unless we're talking about the JDZmedia one, that's pretty bad
Edit2: Scratch that actually, it's one of the worst songs I've ever heard
Along with no reason as to why he thinks we'll struggle. Just 'yeah, did fúcking brilliantly last year, has a new signing that has the potential to underwhelm, been great in pre-season, but they'll struggle whatever'
Because Burnley apparently have a team that's composed of 'future England stars' yet we've clearly only got Nugent and a winning mentality, which bizarrely is always turned against us in these previews.
