Ipswich are quality with threat all over the pitch, but their possession style isn't effective at creating chances when teams going there shutting up shop with a low block and threat on the counter. That's what they struggle against and it's Rowetts speciality. He beat them with Oxford playing that way earlier this season Plus, we are a bogey team to them. I wouldn't be shocked if we come away with something much like the Boro game

On West Brom it's a strange one as the away team usually wins. Yes we always win at the Hawthorns but in fairness they seem to do a job on us at KP more often than not over the years.

With the honourable exception of Derby who can be bang on form playing us at our lowest ebb and we will still wipe the floor with them.

Didn't realise it had gone out of fashion? Most teams try and play that way where possible. But you can't rely on it as a top team because of increasingly defensive structures - low blocks with no attempt to press is the Kryptonite of counter attacking. Only reason it worked so well for us is nobody took LCFC seriously for most the season.

How did you picture him out of interest? For me, somewhere between Christian Bale and Stephen Mulherne, very slick, then you get an overweight baldy who looks like he came straight from a night shift driving buses. Very jarring.

You could say the exact same for Blackburn, West Brom, Oxford, and some above them, watch their games and they look absolutely doomed. We are probably the worst team in terms of results Vs player quality but we have the players who can win a match with a moment of magic and that's why we'll be fine.

Agreed with that and I don't think Kingy is the man here but a short term appointment for someone like a Rowett should see us fairly comfortably safe Actually just any semi competent manager should see us over the line. It was the right call to get rid of Marti but I remain confident he'd have kept us up with just the 6 Pts deduction

To reply to all those querying my post our current PPG is 1.2 (1.23) We will stay up by carrying that on until the end of the season. To say we have no chance of staying up and we are already down when all we have to do is match our piss poor form from the rest of the season is pathetic and cringey doom mongering. Of course we're not down already, we are not Wolves, we are not Sheff Weds we are not cut adrift, we are not even in the bottom 3, we don't even need to improve on the form we've shown up until now over the course of a season.
