I've not watched much of Liverpool this season or last but if he plays like this I'm not surprised, he's rank! Doesn't appear to have any tricks to beat a defender and get to the byline and just does the exact same thing every time which is totally ineffective! Blimey. Seems to have made a career of when young being able to run fast and scoring against poor defenders pushed up in a high line, and then being earmarked as a hot prospect. When in fact it was all he could do and he'd already peaked. Shows the importance of in depth scouting and not just looking at stats and highlight reels. Not a footballer to me and it doesn't take too much watching him to come to that conclusion. To say he won't be missed is an understatement.

Not sure why but there is something very unlikeable about Zverev. I know he's had off the court controversy but not even talking about that, he just comes over as a bad guy / villain. Guess he deserves to win after many close calls but personally I'd like to see the Italian do it.

It's not just me, hard to care about a club where the owner and most of the players are going through the motions. Match day is a thoroughly depressing experience in an atmosphere that is somehow both toxic and apathetic and it's been that way for years now. Sorry for not being a super fan like your good self.
