  1. Millwall 2017 and Peterborough in 2013 are my two favourite domestic aways with Leicester. Both ended in defeat but were the complete opposite of a boring away end. One way to sort the wheat from the chaff is if you saw that Millwall trip as enjoyable/traumatising
  2. No benefit unless we don't sell out? Don't the club have to pay the home team for unsold away tickets?
  3. WE'RE IN LOVE WITH RICARDOOOO
  4. About 1k left I'd say, all STH at the moment so members easy, should just about sell out
  5. Top left block upper is on sale and some seats gone
  6. nah few in the upper tier haven't even opened yet. this is selling at glacier place, less than 50% sold so far, all STH tomorrow. 100% makes members, doubt we sell this out
  7. £30 away cap in the premier league for a start, so anything north of that in the division below is ridiculous. LCFC taking most/all of the blame here as we charged them £37 at our place so what would expect other than the same scalping for our fans.
  8. This is interesting, was turned up to 11 in SK1. Horrendous stuff, goal celebrations so much better with no goal music so why blare that crap out at full time when we've won?
  9. bottom tier almost sold out, so roughly 1k gone to 520 and above, selling slowly
  10. Agreed, the main issue with clappers is why don't people just use their own two hands?! Clapping very much a part of football and yet hardly any clubs use clappers so why do we? Clappers great for the environment and really cheap as well...
  11. It decreases the noise in the ground but not the atmosphere. It's just pointless filler noise in the background that makes it harder for people to hear chants that are actually being sung. At the 2010 world cup nobody (sane) said god I wish there were more vuvuzelas knocking about
  12. This thread has turned more into 'Stadium half full' than 'stadium atmosphere'. The people consistently leaving early are unlikely to contribute to the atmosphere as they evidently don't care. So other than the poor aesthetics of swathes of empty seats it actually doesn't affect the atmosphere if they're present or not. Keeps being said but if you're pissed off with the poor atmosphere move to the section in SK1. Been said that it can't be heard much from other areas but it's rocking in there, was great on Saturday. Even our away ends are pretty dire now. The home comparison to man city is a valid one to some extent, however their away ends always seem decent despite the "boring" possession football they play.
  13. Not liking the chances of this staying at saturday 15:00, seems like the whole of London are at home: Brentford Millwall Chelsea QPR Spurs Palace Wimbledon Fulham West Ham Arsenal Only London team not at home that I can see are Sutton, and they hardly shape the met police landscape
  14. chance would be a fine thing
  15. is this a joke?
  16. One of the all time aways that one, result aside of course. Millwall and Sevilla away in the space of a few days, incredible stuff.
  17. This is why European aways are so much more fun than mind numbing trips to Sheffield Wednesday. Interesting point/theory on why Legia keep escaping major punishment. They tried banning Dinamo Zagreb fans for AEK away this year and that still went south.
  18. Fair enough if it was 2nd Nov, I need educating. Point still stands then when you reduce the allocation you can expect trouble. Putting Leicester in Legia's shoes, if we got given an allocation of 2k plenty would have booked flights and hotels (before actually acquiring said ticket). This then gets reduced to 890 and 1k+ have travel plans but now no ticket. Recipe for booting off
  19. Went home and away to Legia. Are you aware of how they went about reducing it and why that would inevitably cause trouble? Read this and educate yourself Komunikat klubu - Legia Warszawa If you've got fans coming over who cause trouble why would you do everything in your power to piss them off?
  20. Blame lies squarely on Villa/WMP here. If troublesome fans are coming over don't give them an allocation then halve it on the day of the game. Tickets to be handed out at the ground as well, you couldn't make up how poorly this was executed. Great for "scenes nobody wants to see" though. If Legia are that bad don't give them an allocation in the first place, they've done that for plenty of games in Europe this year. For Lazio Feyenoord they flat out banned any Dutch nationals from even travelling to Italy, which is absolutely draconian but handled better than last night.
  21. This is what keeps people coming back, the occasional very good away end, Villa last season for example. Too thin on the ground these days so patience is wearing thin* *Although tickets keep flying off the shelves so not for the vast majority
  22. Whose bright idea was it to reduce their allocation on the night? Did they expect the Legia fans that got turned away to do fck all about it? Good to see English police getting walloped again, they deserve everything they get
  23. Good luck to you. Despite being a bit of a nob you seem like someone who tries to contribute to the atmosphere at games
