Newcastle Away (22nd May @ 8pm)
Sir Steve Howard replied to UKEchelon's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Especially as this is the last away of the season. Effectively doubling the price of a ticket for a 400 mile round-trip away game -
This would be fine if the club released away tickets to supporters with a booking history rather than trying to swindle every last penny from loyal fans with these pointless memberships. Leeds won't sell out because of this. Club will have to pay Leeds for unsold tickets. Cutting off their stupid nose to spite their stupid face.

The "environmental impact" tripe about paperless tickets can surely be ditched now. Just admit it's another element of control for 1984 LCFC
-
Be careful what you wish for with Potter. Think he could wind up being another Brendan. Significant portion of Brighton fans were getting pissed off with his boring football at points. De Zerbi doing much better even when Trossard, White etc have been sold
-
Don't agree with not releasing Villa to gen sale but more likely that Villa fans will buy tickets in the home end. Little/no chance of that with AFCB
-
Comparing your allocated seat in a bowl stadium to your own gaff, seen it all now

The memberships are just another way for the club to shamelessly rip fans off. Been stated so many times that releasing on general sale doesn't mean any bod can get a ticket. They've still got all of your details; but no, the club demands £30 so that we can fund that midget's salary for another 1.736 minutes. Let that bleeding sink in.

Southampton Away Sat 4th March 17:30
Sir Steve Howard replied to FoxFromCoalville's topic in Ticket News and Travel
yeah that's my point. I haven't noticed anti social behaviour at football rising over the 20 odd years I've been going, quite the opposite. But police and clubs are arresting/banning people for minute offences so they can boost football crime stats, thus justifying heavy handed policing and measures like this new ID for away tickets rubbish -
Southampton Away Sat 4th March 17:30
Sir Steve Howard replied to FoxFromCoalville's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Where's their evidence for this? Absolute rubbish. Overzealous stewarding and policing leading to more arrests for minor/no offences does not = increasing "anti-social behaviour" -
Crystal Palace Away- Saturday 1st April 15:00 KO
Sir Steve Howard replied to Will35's topic in Ticket News and Travel
this is a nightmare with train and tube strikes. One of the best aways of the season ruined -
Manchester United Away Sunday 19th Feb 14:00
Sir Steve Howard replied to SickoDicko's topic in Ticket News and Travel
sitting down and keeping quiet during the match is what most of our away fans do anyway. sitting down and keeping quiet when man united score is what most of their home fans do anyway, get your phone out and record the players celebrating and you'll fit in seamlessly -
Is ridiculous they persist with this, clearly not going to sell out. Club cutting their nose off to spite their face. The allocation is now capped at just over 1000 though Newcastle have sold out we'll have handed back all blocks except for the two currently on sale

6k against Macclesfield in 2010, 4-3 league cup round 1. When we were in league 1 we got 7k in each of first two rounds of FA cup against stevenage, Dag & Red -

8k when we got walloped by Burton -
As far as I'm aware, it's green - adult; orange - concession; red - error/card already scanned. Think you'll be fine

Leicestershire County Cricket Club
Sir Steve Howard replied to Sods's topic in General Football and Sport
Call me petty but I hope we lose to Middlesex. If they beat us and Glamorgan finish Derby off then there's still an outside chance of Notts bottling promotion... -
Sevilla Home - Sunday 31st July
Sir Steve Howard replied to moore_94's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Weird flex, just because you're in an apparently comfortable financial position, people shouldn't raise issues with £15/20 ticket prices for a meaningless friendly? Personally think they've gone wrong with these prices, more expensive than some of our European knock out games last season. -
PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS
Sir Steve Howard replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
vast majority of our fans are complete m0ngs who look like every single item of clothing they've ever bought is from the club shop -
PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS
Sir Steve Howard replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
As expected, nothing actually offered other than more moaning. Your earlier remark that an intimidating atmosphere will manifest itself naturally over time when it's been on a steady decline for years is laughable. Clearly just on a wind up and I amongst others have fallen for it hook, line and sinker -
PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS
Sir Steve Howard replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Would be interested to hear which chants you prefer, seeing as you speak on behalf of all Leicester fans, Mick. Get into em, f em up (which has been sung in the sections this season by the way), what else? Are all of the chants within your repertoire original and witty REALLY INTIMIDATING? -

Turns out I didn't bother to read your original post past the first bullet point -
PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS
Sir Steve Howard replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
What are your thoughts on improving the atmosphere if you think this idea a laughing stock? Or are you happy with how crap it currently is/resigned to the fact that modern football creates soulless grounds and we should do nothing about it? -

Have you ever been to a game at Filbert Way?! Trying to make out like our ground is the Den at the moment and the singing section will bring our intimidating fortress crashing down. Boggles the mind comments like this. Surely a parody. -
Aye flew from there once to Dusseldorf for a Bochum game, was a while ago but from what I remember you can rock up very close to the time. 1 hr before flight rather than 2

Chelsea away - Thurs 19 May
Sir Steve Howard replied to Permafrost's topic in Ticket News and Travel
As this is selling so slowly I think the club may pull a similar move they did for Everton and only take up half the allocation
