Yeah, fair to say.
Was just thinking that they'd challenge for the RC all the time if they matched their World Cup pedigree.
WRT the last paragraph, the RC has arguably four of the best six teams in the world in it, so you'd expect the quality to be good.
All 4 at least seemingly well matched as well, Aus winning in SA from so far behind was mad.
Games in ARG are the best, such a football crowd whistling the opposition kicker etc.

The Saffers are the inverse SH counterpart of Ireland for the NH: underperform in local championships, but then always bring their best to a World Cup.
Wouldn't go as far to say that they underperform locally. Prior to loss at Eden Park last week (where NZ haven't lost in a million years), they'd beaten NZ four times on the spin. Could still end up winning the rugby champ as it's so close.
Realistically Rugby Championship is the best competition in rugby by a mile, all games this year have been incredible.

Would be more of an attractive match for me if Soton were the home team. I suppose ITV lured by big club. I might have even preferred Swansea v Forest

Roma
Not minnows, but winnable games we didn’t even bother to try to win- especially Roma away
Roma was diabolical but don't agree on Napoli front.

Felt like every time we went away to a minnow in Europe we had massive issues with Brendan. His record in Europe is very poor.
Hate brendan as much as the next guy but this isn't correct realistically.
Away at 'minnows' (very much up for debate who fits into this):
AEK won 2-1
Zorya lost 1-0 but still won group.
Slavia 0-0 then bottled at home.
Randers walloped 3-1.
Legia away abysmal performance but not counting them as minnows, Villa also got done there

Need Notts and Worcs to lose today, so far so good

Never trust anyone who didn’t like Pearson. I live by that.
This is the quickest and easiest way to separate out sane Leicester fans from the BMA.
Could be a bit stronger in wording though.
Do you love big Nige?

Have you got a link or reference to where it says this please?
AI response:
In the English Premier League, gate receipts for league matches, including away tickets, typically go entirely to the home team. This practice has been standard since 1983, when the Football League ended the previous system where away clubs received a percentage of gate receipts for league games. However, the situation differs for cup competitions:-
FA Cup: Gate receipts are split evenly between the home and away teams after deducting expenses, with each club receiving approximately 45% of the net receipts (the remaining percentage goes to the Football Association). For example, if Leicester plays Norwich in an FA Cup match at Carrow Road, both clubs would split the gate receipts equally after expenses.
-
EFL Cup (Carabao Cup): Similarly, gate receipts are split, with each club receiving 45% of the net receipts, and the remaining 10% going to the EFL.
-
EFL Play-Offs: In the EFL Championship play-offs, gate receipts for semi-finals are split among the four participating clubs, with each receiving 12.5% of the total gate receipts from the four semi-final matches (home and away legs). For the final at Wembley, each finalist receives 25% of the gate receipts, with the other 50% going to the EFL’s Pool Account for distribution to other League One clubs.
These details reflect the general practice across English football, but specific arrangements can vary slightly based on mutual agreements between clubs, particularly in cup competitions or special circumstances like the 2014 Championship play-off final, where Derby County and Queens Park Rangers agreed to give their entire share of gate receipts to the loser.-

That investment has already started.
Some of the applications have gone in to change the names to align with the IPL style names (similar to what SA20 and CPL) have done.
This will improve things!

The Hundred was never going to work. The English aren't on board with crappy franchising. We're not American/Indian.

Masood has been very frustrating. He should be seeing this game out. Less than 2 an over needed ffs. Just show your class.
Nah try to get the NRR up when 2 down, this is a meagre total. Seems like every year in T20 our NRR is rock bottom and we need 1 more point than those around us to make up for it.
Handscomb will play sensibly now

Didn’t expect us to be in any position to win after India’s 2nd innings. It’s going to be tense, genuinely can’t call it. Would imagine England are favourites. But India need 3 (maybe 4 should Woakes bat) good balls and they’ll have 4 overs to warm the bowlers up before the new ball.
If I’m being totally honest a drawn series would be a fair reflection of it all, you could even go as far as saying India could be 3-1 up rather than 2-1 down. The little things that make a big difference have certainly gone Englands way I feel. Even today as an example with Siraj catching Brook then going for 6 then motoring on to 100.
What a sport!
If Woakes didn't chop himself saving one at the boundary we'd have absolutely walked this test
