The thing is when you actually put this into context, the style we’re playing isn’t dissimilar to what Brendan was cooking up, and to an extent what Puel tried as well. That’s nearly 8 years of this sideways passing slow build up play. I completely sympathise with people going week in week out that are sick of it. The end of Brendan should’ve been a different direction yet we’ve kinda just carried on the same.
