Well at the moment he’s making Dooper look good…..
Rubbish
He’s a turd of a manager and should never be here.
zero experience and his results are appalling and he should be gone.
Will end the season with just the lucky win against Spurs imo

Not being helped by those above him or the shite squad but him persisting with certain players, his tactics, and in game management mean he needs to go
He also isn't the right manager for the kind of position this club is in
Not sure he’s even a Manager.
No experience or pedigree other than being a player.
Complete nonsense of appointment and this club is ruined from top to bottom

Cups and Europe are a distraction so hopefully yes
If they keep Ange they’ll get sucked in I think.
A new manager will have them flying in no time.
Don’t rate that Ange personally and find him awkward in interviews always looking at the ground.

Yeah why not. No guarantees with any manager, and currently the s**thouse board (who you should be focusing your attention on) have currently backed him with a £3m fullback who couldn't even be registered in time for a crucial game.
Meanwhile Saints have had Groenbaek wrapped up in about two days.
So yeah there's your answer!
Fair enough

Do yourself a favour and stop this pipe-dream lad. Google is free and Dyche couldn't get Everton to score in most games. Sacking another manager now is not the answer.
So what is the answer ?
Go down with RVN and not win a another game !!!
-
I didn’t want RVN in the first place and it was bleeding obvious he had no experience or ability for this role.
He’s not even at the Rooney / Lampard level and the more I think about it I start churning out this……
Hey Ruud Hey Ruud
Your a good looking Dude
But your causing a Feud
And lowering our mood
I’ve gone off my food
As your not very shrewd
And making me lewd
So I start talking crude
Lost my prim and prude
Going matches in nude
Sorry to sound rude
As I sing to Hey Jude
And you get booed

Absolutely right, but it's also about picking the players that give you the best chance of winning, and getting the very best out of the players he has, even though they may be lacking in real quality, and he isn't doing either in my opinion.

RVN came into a shit storm, behind the scenes and on the pitch
the bad appointment of Cooper in the first place didnt help, then the shit show behind the scenes where it looks like nothing has been fixed etc doesnt help either
think if we had RVN from the start of the season etc we might be in a better spot, and im sure we wouldnt have gone for some of the targets we did in the summer either
hes also not got mads, wilf,Ricky P and Fatawu, all 4 i think would be starting
im not sure if it would change alot,
Don’t think RVN has any management skills and we will be bottom half of championship with him still in charge.
He needs to go asap imo

Bottom 3, but I do think this team - with strongest players available - can win enough games. But I think the Cooper blooper has left us with a mountain to climb.
He did leave us out of the relegation zone

I hate to say it, but I think we might actually be in a better position with Cooper.
I think your right
Cooper was ugly as was his football but he had as scoring without any heavy defeats and arguably had better knowledge and experience than RVN.
I didn’t like Cooper much but don’t rate RVN in the slightest.

I completely disagree with this…
Firstly Ruud has probably had about 13 days on the training field with the lads, the team has been transitioning from Cooper’s clueless football to Ruud’s ideology.
We couldn’t defend for toffee, we were conceding goals and chances like no tomorrow, so Ruud has had to address that, which initially means you may have to focus on the defence a bit more, but we are still creating chances, I would be more worried if we weren’t creating any chances at all. The wolves game was a complete tactical **** up, starting Ward was a huge error, but Ruud can’t really be blamed all that much, as he has only had a limited amount of time with the players. In isolation, that Wolves game was the worst day he has had.
Newcastle have one of the most formidable midfield and attacks in the league, Liverpool are looking like they will eventually be champions (but I can genuinely see Forest challenging them if they get a decent striker in), Man City are struggling but still a class side…. To suggest there’s no style must mean you’ve spent the last two games with your eyes closed…. Because it’s clear the roots are starting to appear….. Man City was the best performance this season, albeit for two defensive lapses and some wasteful finishing…..
I argue that the current signs are progressive, performances are key and generally bar Newcastle and Wolves we’ve improved, with some decent business over the next few weeks we could alright. As for Ipswich, they got battered last night, it’s a complete fluke of a result, and doesn’t define the season…… we could go to Villa and get something, they’re not the force a lot of people think they are and with a stroke of luck and a decent performance we’re capable of upsetting them. And then we’ve got a hand full of games we could get points from…. I’d take a run taking points off the teams around us, over a one off win over Chelsea.
Despite the disaster fixation that’s going on, on this forum, the last two games have shown signs of improvement…. Defensively we’ve been better, we’ve looked more comfortable as a side and I think there’s the shoots of Ruud’s style showing.
As a fan base we need to be more positive, regardless of how bleak we think things are, a couple of weeks and the picture could be completely different.
but the truth is it won’t

Maybe, but the point is, they appointed him and it was a good choice, you can’t plan for him leaving so quickly though
It turned out to be a good choice but was equally risky so we got lucky and had the best side in that division.
whilst he’s doing well at Chelsea I would not be surprised if this tails off second half of the season.

Thing that I don’t understand is the comments from Top is about the fans shouldn’t of had to experience the season when we went down which to me implies like the club we go for it to make sure it’s not a likely to happen again then we end up with Cooper and a shot squad surely he should of knew it was likely if you have a shit squad your off back down
grammar ?

I’m no expert other than a loyal fan for 50 years but I can’t see any light at end of tunnel….
Losing to Wolves was catastrophic and the early goal against Liverpool showed promise but a draw was needed against a piss poor Man City and although there were signs of improvement we lost 2-0 despite their appaling form.
RVN has no track record in the Premiership or with teams in a relegation battle and is an unproven novice akin to your Rooney or Lampard failures.
i think Cooper would have won this game and probably have managed the 4 pts we got against West Ham and Brighton.
So the jury is still out on RVN and whether he is an improvement on Cooper and what signings he may be allowed to improve the squad.
A win against Villa would be massive for survival and confidence and keep us in touch and to achieve this we would need to
go out gun ho and outscore the goals we concede which is enevitable in the manner of a Keegan manager.
A draw would still be a very good result to stop the rot but I still feel we are doomed and results will be hard to come by.
It’s just so depressing after winning the league to find us in such dire straits and without any hope or direction from the people in power.

It’s possible we sneak an early freak goal in the first 5 minutes and then we just park the bus and defend for our lives and hope that Liverpool have a really off day which can happen on these Boxing Day fixtures after spending the day with the family and in-laws.
Or we get truly batterred and it’s 7-0 scorline.
As for RVN……I’m not remotely impressed with him or his ability to manage at this level and think Pearson would do a better job so bring back Nige I say ?

Learning on the job with this dross (dross he had no say in) is obviously going to be difficult.
He needs to be judged more critically after the January transfer window, but that's not to say he should be immune to all criticism until then.
so allow him to bring some players in and still be a clueless novice manager.
Need to get rid of him asap

Surely this has to be Ruud sacrificing the game to make a point that he needs more signings. No way he thinks, JJ. Ward, Ayew, Hamza, Coady, Reid and a 38 year old Vardy is a starting line up.
Subbing Bilal but keeping Ayew on made no sense. Soumare suddenly stopped being able to pass doesn’t help.
Your talking garbage
RVN is clueless and no where near Prem manager standard.
He’s got no experience and only got the job due to the halfwits running this club.
We’re getting relegated and doubt we’ll win another game this season.
