  1. We all know that he's not good enough. My original 'Marti out' thread was closed a few games before this one.

Odd appointment in the first place to be honest. A bit like the signing of Ayew, literally nobody was excited by it.

Obviously the problems at the club run much deeper (KP) than the manager but that doesn't mean he should keep his position.

That one's personal. Ben told us to FOAD (with hand gestures) when we were 2-0 down at Barnsley and he decided to stroll over to take a corner with zero urgency.

Pearson froze him out afterwards and his career stalled from there. Bloke was exactly the sort of bad egg who NFP wouldn't tolerate in his squad - thought he was the big man and drifted through games with barely any effort just because he scored a couple of worldies. Similar to Mills, he's popped up on football podcasts since and seems a right whopper.

Wise aside, his was the easiest (and most rational) inclusion for me. Wout's stupid little ear cups against Sheff Weds this year is the only time a player has come close to that level of disrespect with me there to witness it.

    Have you seen this?

Interesting to hear that Vardy has a big dong.

Just a bit of fun now we're hopefully witnessing the beginning of the end for a certain fluffy-haired defender at LCFC - I challenge you to put together a starting line-up of players you actively dislike, or disliked at the time they were playing. Could be because of attitude, could be off-field shenanigans, could be because they were just THAT bad, could be a combination of all three. lol I'll start with a team from my 30 years following the Foxes that would personally have me handing back my season ticket...

                                Ward

    McGivern    Faes    Wayne Brown   Lamey

           Ben Marshall     Wise     Soumare

                   Tete    Akinbiyi   Gray

Admittedly I struggled with the front three - I don't think there's a player I genuinely hate even with our club's current sorry state there, more a case of not living up to expectations or being frustratingly inconsistent (having one good game in ten is known as "Demarai Gray Syndrome" in our family). I gave Akinbiyi the nod over Daka, because while I was young I vividly remember being at Filbert Street and it being the first time I heard us boo one of our own players.

But everything behind that was rich pickings going back thirty years. We've had some right whoppers - I was debating Ricardo (GK) and Matt Mills (CB) for those positions, but Ward actively contributed to the position we're in today, and Brown's politics were more Lazio than Leicester, so they get the nod.

    Why Ben Marshall?

  4. Not been to an away game since pre Covid and not regular since early 2010s. The atmospheres back then used to be decent most of the time. The fans were very together too. Sounds like it's gone downhill and can't see myself going away ever again, sadly, unless my lad twists my arm when he's older.

  5. Unacceptable stuff from the BMA.

The government's offer is very reasonable and addresses many residents' doctors points.

However it seems to come down to greed first and foremost, they've revealed their true intentions which essentially is all about pay, despite the chunky rises they got recently. (And before they talk of pay erosion since 2010, notwithstanding the cherry picked date as it best suits them, their pay roughly tracks or betters most other public sector wages over that time frame).

  6. I've seen Mark a couple of times in Broughton Astley centre as he lives nearby, he certainly isn't one for the limelight. Shook his hand once, you could tell he didn't want the attention so I didn't try to engage him in conversation. Fair play to him.
