I'd get rid of Choudhury purely to sack off his annoying online following TBF.

Do you mind me asking.... Where do you generally sit on immigration and politically?
There's not much talk of this on here ATM and I'm wondering whether any of our more right wing commentators see this as a positive, or are willing to say it could be.
BBC News - UK set to limit refugees to temporary stays - BBC News
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c231x8rj1zpoI don't mind at all.
Immigration - very much to the right.
Generally - a mish mash. Economically left leaning, socially right leaning. But I take a position on each topic on each merits so am a bit all over the place in terms of the left-right scale.
It's very telling that Mahmoud is taking some pragmatic and practical steps, something that tough talking Tories (like Patel or Braverman) etc al never did.

I like Mahmoud.
It's nice to see a minister taking practical steps (and learning from other countries - Denmark model), rather than just posturing.

Weird comments in here.
Yes he's a limited footballer but I've seen nothing to suggest he's a bad lad or has the arrogance of the likes of Faes etc. He doesn't deserve getting pelters imo.

Maybe this is why you don't sub James on 60 minutes every other game Marti.

Not yet.
In my memory we've had a lot of worse seasons than this (Mid 2000s).
My Dad always goes on about how bad the (I think) late 80s/early 90s were before we started getting play offs around mid 90s.
Theres further to fall for sure.

At this point I'm expecting Aiyawatt to be the next manager 😂

Quote from the BBC:
The state spends £212bn per year on illness-related inactivity, or nearly 70% of income tax, through lost output, increased welfare payments and additional burdens on the NHS.
Raising income tax is unacceptable in my mind, especially given the seemingly endlessly frozen tax thresholds.

You can **** off as well.
Haha, thanks.
For a long time I was very angry and saddened by our collapse. Now I'm just numb to it, and I hope our demise gets rid of Marti, Rudkin, and even Top. Burn it down and start again.

Never looked any good. I criticised him after the Wrexham game but the thread was taken down. I lost it with him after that game. A better manager would have us higher, 1 win in 10 is a disgrace.
Yep, that was my thread that got shut.
Obviously the problems at the club are varied and run much deeper than Marti but it doesn't change the fact that he's an awful, awful manager.

A win would've papered over the cracks.
Honestly starting to enjoy watching the implosion at this point.

Surely the uproar to a rise in the basic rate of income tax would be higher than that to the benefit cuts earlier this year?

Today is the first game where I'm not pushing through a strong desire to not go. I'm gonna try and forget we're even playing, just checking the final score when I go to bed.

CBA to go.
Hopefully a lot of empty seats sends a message.

Our fanbase is too compliant, too subservient, too timid to protest against King Aiyawatt.

He's just an atrocious player. Fundamentally unlikeable to boot.
Got a few frowns today when I booed his name at kick off.

I stand by my Marti out thread I started after the Wrexham game.
He's shit.

The only way asylum seekers are presented in the media are negatively.
- Violent crime reports
- General antisocial behaviour reports
- Labelled 'fighting age men'
- Depicted as ungrateful, lazy, entitled etc.
- How it costs however many £B a year to the taxpayer
As a result I'd say my view of asylum seekers, particularly those entering via the channel on dinghies, is negative.
Are there any sources that are reporting on asylum seekers in a positive light? Anything telling of them doing anything useful, community minded etc?

It's not impossible, but I highly doubt it, even with a points deduction.

Marti essentially trying to shut up shop.
Inviting pressure I reckon.
