We have never replaced Ulloa (when he was on the pitch) at the front of the six yard box for corners. Putting Vardy in the position just doesnt work and i was surprised to see him playing this role once again v Coventry. Would rather Nacho or Ndidi ( whose not physical enough for man to man marking at corners,leave that to Coady,Souttar or Faes)in this role.

Are not a lot of these statistics based on "sight test" ?...Ok these stats are a more accurate a way of keeping a record of them but they still come down to an assesment of what someone believes they have seen to have occured....Goals scored, ground covered and minutes on the pitch are all hard facts but a lot of these so called stats are just subjective assesment ... Assists can range from a pass that dissects a defence, to one that is a sideways pass in front of goal but they all count as one assist.

agree....i think Rodgers thought Ward needed a run of games to gain confidence and improve..costly mistake Ps...i think the monks let us down badly as well

agree...apart from Iheanacho i dont think there is any player who who would be gutted if we went down...within a few days of us getting relegated probably a dozen or so will be in Dubai or Las Vegas....with few exceptions ( Kane,Kasper,Ward Prowse) footballers have no loyalty to clubs..and in return they know they are just commodities as far as the clubs are concerned

Probably,sounds like something he would have said ...but he had had over 3 years in charge to remedy that situation...

Agree...Hate to see us relegated but whatever happens there needs to be a big clearout ...Ward,Evans,Vardy,Vesty, Bertrand,Ndidi,Soumare,Soyuncu,Amartey,Thomas,Albrighton,Hamza,... either too old, not motivated ( £10 million inthe bank) or not good enough.. its almost like we are keeping some players on for sentimental reasons

Agree...I dont think Top has got the ruthless streak that his Dad had...but i also think he has had other things to deal with over recent years, Covid etc affecting the main business. Teams can be too loyal for their own good,,,I remember Bob Paisley at Liverpool saying that at the beginning of each season he would say to his players " If you lot have had enough of winning trophies i will go out and find another 11 players who are not"....they never held onto players who they thought were past the best,no matter how good they had been in the past...Rush,Keegan,Fowler,Whelan,Case,McDermott were moved out and replaced

Great bit of business for West Brom...would love them to get promotion on the back of this...seems to be a good connection between the two clubs as the loan of Harvey Barnes worked well. Albrighton looks as though he could play on for another 2 or 3 years...taken good care of himself and not particuarly injury prone..Similar to likes of Thiago and Milner..can understand him wanting regular game time, he doesnt want to spend his last few seasons sitting on the bench..I think we will miss him more than he will miss us ,he is a great type of character to have at any club

Hard to see how he is going to make a difference to our relegation fight...50 games in the Danish league,he is still learning....you see how long it takes for players such as Ricardo or JJ to get up to speed after coming back from injuries...We need a January signing such as a Robert Huth to get us out of this

we need some "big characters"on the pitch to support the "quieter" players...i think Luke Thomas for one would be a better player if he had the likes of Wes Morgan and Robert Huth alongside, geeing him up. These characters dont need to be loud .Wes was never a shouter but led by example ie throwing himself in front of and blocking shots.

he is just too slow and he knows it. Consequently he hangs back a yard or two too much to compensate for this and ends up playing opposition forwards onside. This has happened several times since he came here ,im just surprised the scouting team never spotted this before we brought him.

Agree....We are too lightweight.. many times in recent seasons we have been bullied out of games
