What an absolute embarrassment of a performance from Everton, not a single shot on target against one of the worse home team not just in the premier league but in the entire 92 -
England boss Thomas Tuchel: "You can see in the selction we chose nine defenders for four positions, seven midfielders for three positions. "The idea is to stick with this formation. "Adaptation comes naturally in the defensive approach. There are so many formations on the other side. It should be flexible to adapt our defensive approach. "Will we change our structure? We will try to stick with what makes us strong and we have a clear idea we have the key players in the position to make a difference.

Strange folk, How have Middlesbrough done that? Think this explains everything, Southampton originally denied it and only being helpful once they knew they was caught out The six-point deduction was mitigated to four points to reflect the available mitigation, including the Respondent's acceptance of the charges, co-operation (although it is not accepted that this was unqualified) and their proffering of information in relation to the OU Incident and IT Incident although we accept that they were on notice from the initial letter of 8 May that the EFL were investigating another incident and so these admissions were not entirely unprompted). We did not consider that a financial sanction was required in addition. A financial penalty, as proposed by the Respondent would not be effective at this stage in the competition since the financial rewards on offer for a team which is promoted to the Premier League through the PlayOffs would render any penalty meaningless. Perversely this may act as an incentive for clubs to breach Regulation 127 and pay the fine in an effort to increase the chance of promotion. In addition to the sporting sanctions a reprimand is considered appropriate in the present case because of the way in which junior members of staff were put under pressure to carry out activities which they felt were, at the least, morally wrong. Such staff were in a vulnerable position without job security and with limited ability to object to, or resist the instructions given to them.

I understand that, my point was more towards that are we going to believe they only did it 3 times? And that the 20 game unbeaten run is a complete coincidence that it happened between the 1st time they spied on an opponent and the 2nd time they spied on an opponent
-
The independent commission have hammered Southampton. Not the EFL or the FA
-
But not all charges was for the knockout competition, obviously we don’t know for certain yet but the fact that Southampton went on a 20 game unbeaten run between two of the confirmed spying incidents certainly raises a few questions
-
It doesn’t matter what is thrown at Man City the worse outcome for them is missing European football for a season unless a points deduction is 60 points or more then they might be in trouble, a monetary fine or a transfer ban won’t affect them much

What is this nonsense? Why does the kickoff time depend on who is in the final? Saturday's Sky Bet Championship final between Hull and Middlesbrough is now set to kick off at 3.30pm at Wembley, subject to Southampton's appeal. The game, which is live on Sky Sports, was initially set to kick off at 4.30pm between Hull and Southampton. However, should the outcome of Southampton's appeal result in the Saints being reinstated, the kick-off time will remain at 4.30pm.

The same way it took Liverpool 30 years to win the title again when they won it in 2020 Man Utd haven’t won it for 13 years Chelsea haven’t won it for 9 years -
Although it was a known option nobody really expected for Southampton to be removed hence the tickets being put on sale for their supporters
-
Especially when they had a 20 odd game unbeaten streak in that period

1-0 Bournemouth -
It wouldn’t be the EFL reinstated them it will be the independent commission
-
The players have not gone anywhere, They have carried on training incase this happens
-
This is so messy, teams could change again for Saturday depending on appeal, kick off time of 16:30 has also been removed, if Southampton remain kicked out then Middlesbrough have 48 hours to make arrangements for Saturday’s game Southampton has a right to appeal the Commission’s decision in accordance with EFL Regulations and the parties are working to try and resolve any appeal on Wednesday 20 May. Subject to the outcome, it could result in a further change to Saturday’s fixture. The EFL is now in discussion with all three Clubs regarding the implications of today’s decision and will make a further announcement in due course.
-
This is where they need to put pressure on the club for reimbursements
-
They can only appeal against the severity, what a mess as Southampton have been selling tickets since last week alongside with Hull, so refunds needed and Middlesbrough have 3 days to sell their tickets and for fans to make arrangements
-
Southampon have been removed from the final
-
I haven’t brought anything from the club shop in a few years so don’t know when it was changed but I noticed it on the STH benefits towards the end of last season
-
So they will replace the 5% they have already taken away for STH?
