Completely agree. I know people get abuse on here for suggesting we should support the team because of all the mismanagement over the past few years and we shouldn't support what the club has become, but honestly imagine being a player and just waiting to get booed at everything you do. We've got rid of the majority of the dross, RM has come in to try to do a job and we need to give some support. There comes a point where people need to understand that supporting the players at games (not the same thing as supporting the board) will genuinely have a positive impact on the team. The longer people complain and boo at every opportunity the worse it will just become on the pitch. To be clear, supporting the team on the pitch does not mean agreeing with the KP or Rudkin. We can protest that in other ways. But one of the main reasons we did so well when we fought of relegation then won the prem was the atmosphere was so positive at every game.

Why do they both have to be starting regularly?

What is it in particular about this that makes you so negative? Consistently played at a higher level, managers & players all seem to adore him as a character. OK granted Swansea fans are saying he's not particularly good, but what do you expect us to get in L1? We don't seem to have the ability to find a Mahrez-esque steal from other leagues now and are in desperate need of some individuals who change the culture positively so as long as he doesn't cost more than a couple million it feels like a reasonably sensible signing (albeit hardly inspiring)

For context that's less than people like Aluko & Golding. Not saying we'll get him for only £4k pw as imagine we'll be offering a bit more to get him down to L1 but it's hardly gonna be breaking the bank

Don't disagree but also supposedly only on £4k pw at Swansea so not exactly a costly signing. If it brings a good attitude and role model for the youngsters as well as a half-decent player then think it has the potential to be a decent signing. All that said, he shouldn't start ahead of Page...

Just checked the club website for the current squad and he isn't listed in the team as a 1st team player anymore. Thought it might have been because he was on loan last season but McCarthy and Chaplin are both included so must have been updated recently.

Actually fine with that squad, not much more we can do with what we have at the moment. Would have liked Nelson in but apart from that not much better we can do.
