I've got to disagree with Fofana. As good as he was (that one season), there were still too many moments where his lack of experience shone through. If he hadn't had his injuries, he might have got there but I don't think he's ever been world class.
I agree and I would also go as far as saying Fofana was much better for us than he has been at Chelsea.
-
Banks, Shilton, Lineker, Mancini, Cambiasso, were all world class at a time in their careers.
Mahrez, Kante & Vardy were world class whilst playing for us.
We’ve also had some very good players that were elite but not world class and at a certain time whilst playing for us would’ve walked into all but 5/6 teams around Europe - Schmeichel, Pereira, Tielemans.

Who are these Murphy fans in the audience?
Think it’s snooker fans in general at finals. Absolute dicks that think they’re mates because they’re supporting that person.

Josh Hull 0 not out from 35

Was it just me or did he give his shirt to a Blackburn fan?

Horror decision to bowl

Nick Kelly. Don know that much about him. Any good?
It’s an all formats signing which is surprising.

This is why we all fell in love with football.

Bromley will be popular with most as imagine it’ll be a new ground, myself included.
Will be happy if Cambridge, Grimsby or Salford come up as need to get them ticked off. Notts county wouldn’t be a disaster either as it’s nice and easy.
Would prefer Exeter to stay up over Leyton Orient as I’ve been to Brisbane Road and need Exeter to tick.
Need AFC Wimbledon, and hopefully Stevenage & Bradford to stay down.
A potential of 7 new grounds for me. Hoping Blackpool away is at a decent time of the year on a weekend so we can make a nice weekend of it.

There were a couple of fellow fans laughing at me a week ago when I said Newcastle are in the relegation battle.
I've processed all mathematical possibilities and statistics and Newcastle are in trouble. I said the same for Spurs in early December last year and you were all laughing.
They will likely be fine but I do agree, it’s a very distinct possibility, although they still do have West Ham and Forest to come.

These things always make me laugh.
What do people expect or want him to say?
Comes out and agrees with people, gets slated for it.

The problem I have is, take out the football side of things, Top is a buisness man. First and foremost he is buisness rather than anything else.
Yet he is running the club into the ground and can't seem to shift the deadwood that is failing his buisness.
Wrong.
He’s the child of a businessman, that was the heir to the throne.

I had a heated debate with a few "older" supporters when I told them i wasnt renewing.
They said the club was better off without people like me.
I said look around the stadoum, is this what you want.
Reply" Atleast we are loyal supporters"🙄
It’s really sad, when you come to think of it. I feel gutted for so many real fans that have been there through it all that have basically decided enough is enough. Yet the crux of it is, they’re not even bothered anymore and simply don’t care enough because of what we’ve been served up and you know what fair play. I’ve got my reasons for renewing like many others, the same plenty have their reasons for not.
I think the biggest problem with a lot of people renewing, is blind loyalty and they feel like they owe the club.
I can fully see what’s going on and the potential that could happen and I’m ready for that.

I swear on my children's lives there were some folk clapping the players off in L1 last night.
The Ginetta clan and a few others.
I was literally fuming at them.
This old lady told me to go and support Coventry.

Their counter offer here is going to be that they’re going to include Vertu trophy matches in the season tickets 😭😂

Condolences on your relegation. As a Millwall fan I’ve seen enough relegations to leagues 1 and 2 during my lifetime supporting the Lions (over 50 years now) so I know the hurt and anger you must be feeling towards the players and management/the board for failing to play/act both on and off the pitch!
If it’s any consolation, I think you’ll beat us on Friday. Your players will now be playing with more freedom and the shackles will be off. Plus, Rowett seems to have the hoodoo over our manager, Alex Neil, as he has never beaten Rowett before in a competitive game of league football.
January 1st 2025, Alex Neil’s first game in charge at the Den was against Rowett’s Oxford United. They beat us 1-0. This season, we were 2-1 up, with less than a minute to go, when Oxford (again under Rowett) scored an equaliser. Once again, this Friday, Rowett holds our promotional hopes in his hands. Will he want to spoil the party against his old club? Absolutely he would. He’ll want to get back at all the Millwall fans who sang, “Gary Rowett, your football is S%it!” when we were losing away to Norwich City, and before he finally threw the towel in and left.
It’s a guaranteed certainty that, at the very least, Rowett will get Leicester City a hard fought draw on Friday evening.
I think you’ve really misunderstood how little our players care. They aren’t going to want to be out there and they certainly aren’t going to want to play against a side that will be up for a game.

Number 21 - Leicester City
Number 65 - Harborough Town.
And that concludes the draw for the FA Cup first round.

Where has that second half performance been for most of the season? One swallow doesn’t make a summer but as much as it’s irrelevant, decent performances from Thomas and BDCR. Hull were awful - and once more two brain dead decisions have lead them to scoring. But who cares.
I don’t feel all that much, the inevitable has been confirmed. But the worst things for me tonight, was them all looking downhearted because it’s been confirmed, and any arsehole that clapped them off the pitch.
I’m gutted for Ricardo that his time here is going to end here like this. I’m gutted for Jordan James because he has been a shining light in our worst ever season. A player that actually epitomised our club.
The rest of them, can fack off.
