  1. SwissRamble had us at £95m so very much right between the two
  2. Robbery if we get £15m for him
  3. Maybe but I still think he would benefit more from 5 months of playing actual mens football and then he would still get about 1-2 months in pre-season with him
  4. Rather disappointing that is tbh
  5. Somehow getting them both into League One playing regularly for the rest of the season would be brilliant, especially if we do go down
  6. Non penalty xG of 5.8 Is he getting enough quality chances to actually be able to score more than that?
  7. On the plane back to Parma on Thursday
  8. Want a right-back? “We haven’t been opening up on positions we’re looking at. It’s not the best thing to do. We’ll keep that on the inside, and what is possible. It’s better to keep it indoors.” Confident of deals? “The most important thing was that from the conversations we had before I signed, we’re aligned with that, and we know what is possible and what isn’t. It has to be the right one. We have a responsibility to get the right players in.” New player in before Saturday? “It could happen but we have to wait and see how things are happening. It’s why the focus is on performing and winning. After that, it’s about signing players.”
  9. Cannon? “He’s one on the list for us. We keep a close eye on him. Tom’s situation is closely assessed. There are decisions to be made on that. It’s still a possibility (he stays at Stoke). But we’re looking at what is best for his situation and what is best for the club.”
  10. Ruud Van Nistelrooy Pre-Match Press Conference vs Crystal Palace Man Utd in round four of FA Cup? “I was hoping for a home game against a team in the league below us maybe. But the first team that got out was United and we were second. It’s going to be the third time for United v Leicester in three different competitions. It will be special to go there.” Coulibaly? “We cannot confirm any news on any new player. Let’s see how things develop.” Want a right-back? “We haven’t been opening up on positions we’re looking at. It’s not the best thing to do. We’ll keep that on the inside, and what is possible. It’s better to keep it indoors.” Confident of deals? “The most important thing was that from the conversations we had before I signed, we’re aligned with that, and we know what is possible and what isn’t. There are decisions to be made on that. It’s still a possibility (he stays at Stoke). But we’re looking at what is best for his situation and what is best for the club.” Performances? “We said we want to continue the performances into the FA Cup and it showed progress in different areas. Our performance was good. We addressed the individual mistakes we have to cut out and we don’t get away with in the Premier League. They occurred for both QPR goals and we have to get better there.” More important to get results? “Every game you would rather play bad, get lucky and win. In the short term, we need points. But in the long term we need to perform better and to the maximum capability of the players. That’s what we want to show in the next two games.” Palace? “I look at their squad and the qualities they have within the team, from back to front and that is a Premier League side. We have to be aware of that. Very strong centre-backs and very good wing-backs, players up front who can change the game in a matter of seconds. It’s going to be a tough one for us. We want to show what we’re about.” Difficult to balance need for results vs putting identity on teams? “I think it can go hand in hand. The players are the identity. To get the most out of the players is the biggest job for a manager. I just want the team to play as well as they can. My identity and with the player profiles we have, they can go hand in hand and we are building with that.” This squad got enough to stay up? “It’s not a maybe. I see their characteristics and qualities. They are there. When I first signed, I believed it was possible with this squad to stay in the division. We need luck. Losing Mads and Abdul were big blows. We’ve shown over the past six weeks that we’re making progress together but we need to get points.” You're not used to relegation battles. What qualities are you drawing on? “It’s very interesting that if you’re trying to win a league or a cup, you’re trying to get the maximum out of yourself and the team. It’s similar at the other end of the league. It doesn’t change. Getting the best out of yourself every day, it’s the same. My first three seasons in the Dutch championship were fighting relegation. At United and Real Madrid, the principle of doing sports to perform on a daily basis and that is everywhere, it doesn’t matter where you are.” Vestergaard? “He’s part of team training today. We’re expecting he can be there on Wednesday.” Any fresh injuries? “No news on injuries.” Pressure of next two games? “The pressure is fantastic. You have to embrace it and be happy to be able to show what you’ve got in these key moments. Every second in this league, we have to show we are competing.” What do you want from fans? “It’s very important that we show what we’re about and what we want and how bad we want this. It will reflect in the stands. I was at the Brentford away game and it was hard. The connection with the away fans, but then there was the West Ham and Brighton games and it changed. The reaction is there from the crowd, but it’s our responsibility to keep that going.” New player in before Saturday? “It could happen but we have to wait and see how things are happening. It’s why the focus is on performing and winning. After that, it’s about signing players.”
  11. https://www.sky-sport.ch/fr/articles/kimmich-ronald-araujo-wout-faes-kobbie-mainoo-voici-les-infos-transferts-de-la-semaine/ Wout Faes will leave Leicester City this summer! It is a Sky CH exclusive: Leicester City and Wout Faes will leave each other at the end of the 2024/2025 season. Currently penultimate in the Premier League, the Foxes are going through a particularly difficult period and this sporting instability leads to a direct consequence on the club's financial balance sheets. In the event of relegation, a massive degreasing of the team's cadres will be applied. What's more, the financial necessity is already pushing English leaders to anticipate the disaster and therefore to establish the first discussions with the players likely to be sold, a list of which is part... Wout Faes. Under contract until June 2027, the defender has reached an agreement with Leicester City to facilitate his departure in the event of an interesting offer. An exit voucher granted that inevitably arouses the interest of several Italian and German clubs... Enjoying a real international popularity rating, the Belgian is targeted by Lazio Roma for next summer, which would consider the arrival of the native of Mol in the Italian capital as a real market opportunity if the relegation to the Foxes Championship were to be confirmed. If we follow this scenario linked to the possible relegation of the English club, Wout Faes could then leave the Premier League at half the price compared to its market value, i.e. twenty million euros according to the assessment of the reference site Transfermarkt. An attractive price of about ten million euros that could attract clubs other than the Laziali, already in pole position in this file... So, will Wout Faes choose the Lazialis to give a new impetus to his career or will he prefer a championship like the Bundesliga where mobile defenders enjoy more space in the animation of their game in order to develop offensive football?
  12. I think I would prefer KWP for £4m more… Probably want quite bigger wages though
  13. I like him but with how weak we are defensively and with how little he and Soumare really contribute to that side of the game I don't think it is suitable at all for us to use them as a pair Once Wilf is back it needs to be him with one of Soumare or Winks
  14. Stutter penalties are quite unfair really
  15. Would absolutely take him back if we could get him
  16. I wouldn’t want him going for either an option or obligation I don’t think we would be getting a good transfer fee to make it that worthwhile for us when there is currently a decent chance we could need him (or another striker) in the Championship ourselves next summer I would rather we left the decision to sell until the summer when we know which league we are in, there would still be plenty of interest in him then
  17. Sheff Wed and Luton are also interested apparently
  18. I personally wouldn’t bother loaning him out anywhere on a loan to buy Leave him at Stoke or only let him go to Sheff Utd or Sunderland as a straight loan
