No idea how clubs are supposed to plan for the future when the rules seem to change every couple of years. We don't plan anyway but even the best run clubs will get caught out simply because they planned for one eventuality and then the goal posts moved.

No we're playing on the "don't want too many Leicester City's" quote and the small club upsetting the Super League 6 when the reality is if we don't break Vichai's model of success, there's no way of punishing us legally. Everton are just being Everton in the same way they still whine as if "Feed The SCousers" has actually offended them and they aren't the kids in the playground that run off and say "Miss Miss he's just tripped me up". Everton ARE a big club and just like us they messed up their figures.

I cannot believe anyone is still coming out with this "EFL relegated us" or "PL punishing us for 2016" shite. Not sure anyone said he was shit. Just been massively unlucky in his time here. Guy gets a bit of game time at the end of the Rodgers/Smith shit show, discarded by Maresca because the Coady/Faes/Lurch trio was enough, injury ravaged. He's got enough about him to be a leader for what's going to be a very young squad next season.
