A good 5-10 minutes at the start but since then pretty much any bit of quality in our side seems to have completely disappeared and we now have zero threat going forward Ipswich the much better side after that and should probably be quite disppointed not to be winning after that free header Hopefully this means we will be good for the second half... (I doubt it) -

Has Vardy managed to even touch the ball in the last 30 mins? All of our attacking players look so isolated -

Still looked like a pretty hard chance to score from even if he didn't slip, keeper was covering the near post and their defender was covering him from curling it towards the far post -
Silko Thomas is on the bench for Wigan Athletic vs Carlisle Brandon Cover is starting for Port Vale vs Barnsley Chris Popov is on the bench for Barrow vs Doncaster

Would probably have preferred Okoli next to Vestergaard than Faes but very happy other than that, and it will be interesting to see if we are going with the high full back tactic or the inverted full back tactic I know they have both been shite so far but I think I would still prefer Reid or Edouard on the bench over 2 centre backs -
From what most Stoke fans were saying on their forum apparently he did catch him on the foot Probably still one of those where he has over-exaggerated it a bit but I guess he did spend a year training with Vardy

Started 20 league games in our relegation season and then didn't want to stay once we were in the championship Saw plenty enough of him in that relegation season to not suddenly think he is going to be the answer to any issue we have with our team because for whatever reason he can't turn any good performances into consistent ones

I have collected quite a bit the past few years and tried getting into playing the actual game but didn’t really stick with it This new streamlined version of the game is great -

Steve Cooper Pre-Match Press Conference vs Ipswich Town Suspension? “We haven’t had confirmation that is going to be the case. It’s fairly common. You’ll see it most weeks. We’ll take it as it comes. It highlights the decision-making of referees. It won’t be a new experience for the players, they had it last season as well. “I always try to be honest after a game. It’s a quick turnaround, and we’ve got to continue with our plan and all our focus is on Ipswich. We’ve had a good morning’s work. Through the frustration and annoyance of how the game went last night, it’s quickly been turned into motivation for the weekend.” Assume you'll rotate team again? “You pick a team that you feel is best fit to win you games. It doesn’t mean that the players who played last night won’t play at the weekend. We’ve picked up a couple of knocks. Abdul was not available for the game last night because of his groin. It doesn’t mean we’re going to go a certain way on Saturday.” Ipswich still not won? “We don’t want any team to get a positive result against us. We’re aware of that. That’s not for us to be concerned about. It’s about our preparation and getting our third win. There’s a big determination to do that.” Work on defence? “It’s always the case. I won’t hide away from the goals we’ve conceded. We need to focus on our concentration and be present in the moment. We’re in a ruthless environment where you do get punished. We need to get the balance right and to tip it our way so we’re scoring more than we’re conceding.” Big game? “A win can make such a difference, as shown by the wins we’ve got already. Three points are three points. A win is always the first objective. We really want to get that third win. The games are going to come around quick, but that can be a positive.” Fatawu injury? “We’re waiting on a scan. He picked up a pain in his groin in the build-up to United. We’ll see what the scan brings. Hopefully it’s positive news. When you send them for scans, you fear the worst. We’ll see.” Kristiansen? “He trained this morning for the first time. Pato is back in training as well. Michael Golding is back in training. Jannik returned last night. On that front, apart from Abdul, it’s fairly positive.” How much work on defence can you do in two days? “First and foremost, it’s facing up to it. There’s always a topic to talk about where we can do better and at the moment it’s giving opponents good opportunities to score against. That topic will always change. We’ve got to bear it in mind. Concentration is such a key factor of what we’re talking about now. Let’s cut it out. If an opponent scores past, let’s make sure they have to work really hard.” How will suspension affect players? “We’re big on players taking ownership and they often can’t hear much from the sidelines in these big stadiums. A lot of the players are still here from last season when they had experience of it. The players are honed in on the game. That will be no different no matter who’s on the touchline.” Game more significant because Ipswich will finish around you? “I don’t think we should assume that anyone should be anywhere. It’s more about living in the moment, respecting who you’re playing against. You have to earn the right to make things happen against every opponent. When we’ve been at our best, it’s been about what we do in games.”
