Hopefully Brighton turn up and beat Everton as Forest beat Southampton tonight
-
I think that would annoy everyone even more

why are we constantly attempting to score from 20+ yards out.......Shoot on sight must be the instruction

The comment below is taken from the BBC live commentary of the arsenal - Chelsea game Stevie: Good win for Arsenal, with Chelsea on such a terrible run, but still with some quality players, I thought it might be a banana skin for them. Who signed off the £75m or whatever it was for Fofana? he's horrendous

The reality is we still have 5 games left, it's still very much in our own hands, so whilst we have a chance we need to remain calm 😀
-
If Vardy starts, we need 2 up front. He simply can't do it on his own anymore. Still hopeful (or stupid) we can pick up 3 points today and 3 points against Leeds
-
Surely it was built to keep our better players and attract better players? That hasnt happened Duh

Never created a topic before, hopefully I dont get shot down, but i'm wondering why we decided to build this world class facility as its been no use so far. Surely the idea was to try build on what we had acheived in recent years, yet we still can't keep our best players, we can't attract better players. If it's to try entice better players to come to the academy, we're talking a number of years to build on that. Seems a waste of money at the minute, even more so if we're relegated.

We need someone fresh to come in and get these boys motivated and up for the fight. Saturday was awful and surely we can't get any worse. We need to support whoever comes in and now get behind the boys whatever decision the club make. It's our team and we need to be there for them too, we can play our part in keeping us up too.

So just finished writing my post above, to return to the page with this tweet from Tanner Please don't be true I went from being positive to depressed in less than 30 seconds

I think it's probably the most sensible decision and gives us the best chance of staying up. There aren't many managers that we could attract at the moment given our position, and it would be a huge gamble to pluck someone from abroad with no premier league experience. With Rafa, he has managed in the EPL, yes he's been relegated, but came back up and didnt shy the challenge. I think we just need to find a bit of stability going into the last 8 games and hopefully the players will respect what Rafa has achieved in the past over an unknown. His CV is by far the best of the managers linked so far.

Stowell & Sadler must have backed us for relegation with that team

I made the point last night in another thread, he can't play the lone striker role anymore (in fact, I don't think any of our strikers can), he needs support and I don't know why they still persist with one up front. We haven't actually changed our tactics or attempted to try 2 up front for a different approach for more than 30 minutes whilst chasing a game. We need to do something, I'd rather we tried something different last night and lost than lose with a set up as if Rodgers was still in charge. The only thing different was there seemed to be a bit more urgency from a couple of players.

We need to stop shopping at Southampton
-
Roy Keane let's give them the hairdryer treatment
-
Still we persist with one up front, Vardy is on the decline and needs another striker to support him. He can't do it on his own anymore.
-
When rodgers was under pressure previously, Potter was always heavily linked, so I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for him now.
-
Looking at the favourites on sky bet, I'm not sure i'd want any of them. I hope we can manage to persuade someone like pochettino or try get a promising manager from overseas.
-
Rodgers now to ruin Tottenham
-
Roy Keane for 10 games hairdryer treatment
-
The thing is, he won't show us any loyalty if we get relegated and and another club come in for him. Top stop showing this fraud anymore loyalty

Same can guarantee it'll be the one team to let it down -
The fans need to show Top we don't want him at the club at the Chelsea game. I can't see Top sacking him unless the atmosphere is completey toxic from the fans and he's inevitably forced into doing it.
