  1. Basically the Championship is unsustainable in it's current format. Clubs are losing too much money and only for Owners bailing them out every year they would go broke.
  2. That's why he's an elite Coach, like Enzo. They can change systems and tactics at will. Because they have the Players we Coached to adapt at will.
  3. Kevin Maguire has written a good BBC article on the Financial Losses in the Championship. It's a good read.
  4. There Keeper having a super game.
  5. More than Monga and he keeps trying.
  6. I don't get people calling for Monga who has delivered nothing since getting plenty of chances. Aluko or Paige is a different matter.
  7. That's the dilemma. It's all about Goals, if he starts delivering goals regularly, then why not give him an extension. But we need to be smarter with our Contracts. Otherwise we're going to take a chance on another young talent.
  8. But just we love a new record.
  9. Isn't it on the pitch where most Fans are concerned. Off the pitch they can do what they like because they own the Club. All fans can do is request change and work with the club to bring that about. Fans had a chance to own the club the last time we were in administration and passed on the opportunity. All we can do is request KP parent company to replace him which they can do. I the meantime, We have to hope Top is learning from his mistakes.
  10. KP parent company is not the problem It's Rudkin who clearly wasn't up to the job. and Top supporting him. That's the problem. You can't say nothing will change because we know it certainly will change. But change takes time in Football, especially if you don't have millions to spend. It takes time to run down Contracts etc. If you want to effect change you go to the parent company not the club or Top. As he's clearly not going to get rid of Rudkin. Either way things will change you can be certain of that.
  11. I fully understand your point but you never know why people do things in life. He wouldn't be the first manager to take a backwards step to move forward. Some have done it for money others to get out of a club where they're not happy. The next Pep is already out there, you just have to do due diligence and find them. The beauty of finding a young hungry Manager I's they don't come with baggage and are hungry for success. We need to clear the decks and start afresh. That's the challenge ahead. But the people who created this mess needs to be held accountable. For that you need KP on board.
  12. I haven't heard anything about Newcastle looking at him. But don't be surprised if you see Liverpool either. We need to sign the right Manager no matter how much it costs, On the right Contract.
  13. That's your opinion and your entitled to it. But small time thinking gets you know where in Sport. I'm getting on a bit now, But having been in the game for a long time, The one thing I've learned is Football success starts with the right Manager. Then support from the Club. Haven't you learned anything from the Maresca appointment. That's what we need again, To appoint the right Manager. We are unlikely to attract a top manager given our current position, So the next best is a good up and coming Manager. Look at the job he's done with the squad he's inherited plus 1 signing. That should surely tell you something about his ability to Coach and Manage. It's likely too late to get him now but that's the quality of Manager we need. I'd sooner we spent money on a good Manager than any player. Because the right Manager brings success.
  14. Money talks in Football.
  15. We need to be brave and find a good up and coming manager. Right now I'd go for the Southampton manager if he could be got away from Southampton. He has such a refreshing approach to the game. And Southampton look a really good team with the same squad that was facing relegation early in the season.
  16. I've never known a player to fall over so much from his own feet. The one thing you have to credit him with is he keeps trying. It would be lovely if he had a swan song finish to his career here by keeping us up this season.
  17. The big positive today was Daka's performance. Hopefully he can keep it up.
  18. Not the result we needed.
  19. Been calling for this for weeks now. Someone big up top.
  20. U can do it. Come on Leicester.
  21. HE fully deserves that goal today.
  22. Why are we always under the ball at corners instead of running onto the ball.
