Lovely to hear Leo is back. He was a proper striker great with his head and could hold the ball up.
-
Of course we can go down. 31 goals were scored in total by James Fatawu Daka and Ayew and they will be gone I know the front men weren’t great. The 2 strikers City brought in on loan last season barely played and didn’t score so will be same hierarchy suddenly deliver this season?

Watching Notts they will give us a thrashing. No strikers no 8 or 10 and no plans apart from making do
-
Can’t see Vardy coming back but surely Leicester will try to get a couple of strikers in after completely failing to strengthen last year. Percy reported a while ago that another goalkeeper is on the cards and now Begovic is being offered an extension. There are going to be huge gaps in the first team not least the loss of Jordan James Ricardo probably Fatawu heaven knows what the plan is I suspect make do as usual. If the last couple of windows is anything to go by Leicester will bring in a 3-4 players on the last day mainly loans that turn out not to be an upgrade or have serious fitness issues

I was given a framed champions 2016 shirt signed by Vardy Mahrez and Kante when I left a job after many years in 2017. Was really touched by the generosity at the time.Thought I would see how much is was worth on line only to realise that the signatures were done robotically! Can’t believe I didn’t properly read the description on the back!

Whoever Leicester get is going to be a risk because we won’t be able to attract or afford most targets. Fuchs has experience of league 2 and living within tight budgets and is hugely respected within the club and fan base. Rowett has stated his case in terms of some of the stats since he has been here but has struggled in big games and changes/substitutions have been late. So I’d be prepared to give Fuchs a chance but I almost don’t want to land him with the responsibility given the chaos at the club.
-
You would hope there is a chance that Jordan could accept a contract as long as there is some sort of release clause put in place so he could leave in January if there is no upturn leaving the club a handy profit without being too greedy. The longer the club is in limbo regarding a new manager and sales/acquisitions or the usual complacency the less likely I think this will happen.
-
It would be lovely to keep him as he can dominate at the back and of course has several international goals to his credit. Realistically I wouldn’t be surprised if Sheffield United come in for him. Their form waned once he got injured during the recent loan

Rowett probably has improved the team defensively in spite of the individual mistakes seen almost every week. However going forward Leicester are less effective maybe xg is marginally better but the goals aren’t happening. We are bottom of the league for passes in the final 3rd and how often do we see teams really opened up with several players getting in the box. We also don’t set up to be effective on the break as there is no confidence at the back and of course the usual build up play is so slow it is painful to watch. So it is all too cautious and negative and we play llke a team in trouble

Yes, Rudkin and Glover managed to unearth the one striker even worse than the Patson Daka and Jordan Temu.
I don't count Carranza as I was just gobsmacked that we thought Feyenoords fourth choice was the man to take on the mantle. Again, it was obvious to anyone but Rudkin
The striker situation is always an afterthought. Remember the Edouard signing he barely got on the pitch.

Leicester must be the only team that has shown nothing during the relegation scrap at the bottom. So poor in comparison with West Brom Blackburn and Portsmouth even Oxford remain ahead

The club is in free fall.If people think playing Mansfield is a low point we may find that they will give Leicester a very good game. I live near there the club is well run not over budget and Nigel Clough is a good manager, I’ve seen nothing to suggest that City will brush past teams like this with the current approach and hierarchy

Mansfield at home being a Category A game and needing to take a Macquarie loan out to take the family will be the ultimate low in the clubs history
Worse to come than this in my opinion. Actually think it will be an entertaining game. Are there really any Category A fixtures perhaps Sheffield Wednesday?

I think if Cifuentes had been supported in the market with a proper striker or fit number 10 he might have done OK although he was running out of ideas. But yes if you are making a change it needs to be planned with someone in mind. There was still this complacency that the squad was good enough and exactly the same hesitancy we saw a couple of years back in appointing anyone.
-
Live in north of Nottingham so Mansfield maybe Notts County away would be good and probably better atmosphere in the away end.
-
If James and Ramsey come in to start could have a decent midfield.i just think Leicester will either concede early in the intimidating atmosphere or run out of steam. My guess is 2 1 in favour of Portsmouth think it will be close

I have renewed but spent a lot of time thinking about it. It won’t be long before I’m old enough to get a discount. Have a parking space as well haven’t even been sent an option on that seems pretty inefficient but can manage without that luxury
-
I think it is difficult. You want to support the team and don’t want players to point to the toxic atmosphere as an excuse for poor home performances. However after a positive atmosphere at the beginning we saw little or no pressing or urgency from the front and by the start of the second half it was completely flat in the stadium. It was almost as if the lethargic and passive approach was infectious. The frustration with lack if substitutions then the shock of the goal not just the mistake but the pathetic tracking back finally got a response but even that tailed off.

Last season Leicester could point to Southampton and Ipswich being no better as recently promoted sides. The gap now is there for all to see. This seasons fire sale and failure to recruit any proven striker or full back been when you would have thought they would be top of the list is incredible. On top of this has been a failure to invest in any sort of manager that can’t be recruited without paying compensation as we did the year before. Expect a similar amount of upheaval at the start of next season with even lower targets

Going to be 2 0 soon. Leicester offering nothing and still no substitutions
-
Need immediate substitutions maybe Reid etc not enough energy. Cannot defend set pieces or get anything from them when attacking.
-
Leicester will be expected to win so are on a hiding to nothing. The manager talked up
the last performance saying 99% there but Leicester still look very shaky at the back and could have conceded more. I’m not sure if anyone it going to be fit enough to add to the goal scoring threat when things need freshening up . Wednesday looked very good in the first game of the season but dropped off late on but of course Leicester do exactly the same rarely putting games to bed when leading.
-
Leicester need to buy him 5 million Euros is a bargain. Whether it is possible to sell on in the same window I’m not sure. Can the Bilal money be used to fund this?? Leicester need some talent even in League one Leicester won’t have any strikers and I don’t have any confidence in recruitment after this seasons half hearted efforts to add to the strike force. I’m guessing Abdul will move on so I’d do everything to keep James if at all possible
-
You can’t blame Rowett for individual mistakes. I think Rowett needs to focus on players than can pass the ball forwards so Ricardo Winks back in and Daka up front. I think too much time is being spent thinking how to protect the centre backs rather than playing to our strengths with the limited flair we have. You risk creating very little and we may still concede as happened yesterday. Having said this not sure why Lascelles wasn’t given some time yesterday I’m sure his experience will be invaluable if he is fit.

League One - Who manages us?

No point throwing money at Martin when cash is so short for players. Last thing Leicester needs is slow possession based football with no money for strikers etc. Surprised we didn’t go for the Lincoln manager
