Perhaps giving Marti benefit of the doubt the bench is a subtle hint to the powers that be that non of the full backs are at the level he needs to statt. Enzo did similar things when the squad needed improvement. But should Ayew or the current wingers be nailed on starters?

Back 4 tonight should be Ricardo, Nelson, Vestergaard and Hamza.
Aluko and Okoli off the bench if required.
Agree with this. Marti surely cannot stick with the same line up that is conceding so easily. Yes there is a worry about JV pace but he can pass the ball forwards.Would be OK with a back 3 as well.
If there are no changes I would be very concerned. Haven’t heard any rumours about full back reinforcements but surely up there with the striker role as priority

Same problem automatically skipped a game - has anyone got a fix for this or do we wait and trust it will be solted?

I would have thought he would agree unless Leicester slip further to League one. I don’t think we can sign him and sell on immediately for a profit in the same window but I can see it happening later in the season. Unless of course Leicester do challenge again but that won’t happen without investment in players infrastructure and better decision making

Less than 10 years ago we travelled to Spain to watch us face Oblak, Griezmann & Torres's Athletico Madrid in the Champions League Quater Final.
On Tuesday, we travel to Wales to get played off the park by a team made up of Matty James, Lewis Brunt and Danny fvcking ward.
Let that sink in.
Less than 10 years.
I don’t think Leicester are fit enough these days to go 90 minutes in the Championship not to mention the Champions league. Cost me a lot of money to go to Spain but it was well worth it because the club fans players in unison were giving it everything and living the dream.

This is very similar sounding to the Carranza deal. 26 with one decent season in a lower league. Could have gone with Richard Kone another Ivorian in the summer but was £3m too much? Is this really about PSR or is the club struggling to make ends meet.

I thought Hamza would have taken one of the full back roles maybe Jannik to add some experience and passing ability out of defence. Bobby Reid can score but too lightweight to start against strong physical sides.IMO can see the midfield being cut through way too easily

He definitely want`s to stay, hard to believe I know but he does.
I suppose he is playing every week, scoring goals and starting for Wales. But he will need to see that the club has plans to progress going forward. He is going to need some quality in midfield to support him or he will get frustrated
-
Doesn’t feel as if anyone at the helm in this window and certainly no long term plan. More than happy to be corrected on this I suspect a hammering this weekend by Coventry will bring things into focus.

Piroe would be ideal I thought he would come to Leicester before Leeds signed him. Looks like Leeds would need to bring a striker in for that to be a possibility so I doubt it.

While there is relief that the situation with Faes has resolved I cannot believe there are no concrete links to incomings. Leicester now have 2 fit full backs and central defenders at the club. No consistent striker capable of scoring regularly or a playmaker at no 10. Not even clarification on the Jordan James situation the one bright spark from recruitment.

I don’t think we have seen a 90 minute performance this season. The statistics are worse than the results because we have a few players with a bit of quality that can do something unexpected . Whether it is lack of fitness confidence or both I don’t know but the inconsistency shows no sign of improvement.
-
Wow all WBA atm. Leicester need to
mske changes confidence has gone. Very little energy or running
-
I’ve missed a couple recently partly due to family stuff but tonight a commute down the A46 possibly minus 4 on the way back isn’t looking good . Too late to list it and probably 100 for sale in my block anyway.
I think could be down to £20k tonight -
I think Souttar is a decent player he was very highly rated in Sheffield and Stoke and I just don’t think he got enough of a run at Leicester. I think he could make a good combination with Nelson..I’m curious as to why he hasn’t been given a few minutes is this fitness or is the club looking to sell.Looks like the club don’t want to sell Okoli but I’m not convinced he is at the same level
-
He just seems too lightweight to play in the number 10 role and also struggles to go 90 minutes. He can score goals very cleanly though and is a great option later in games. With Ramsay injured I don’t think the club has a solution for this position and needs to strengthen urgently.

With all the other shit around him it's gone a bit under the radar how poor he has been this season.
Benefited massively better players around him last time around, particularly KDH.
He hasn’t really got going and away from
home in particular is doing quite a lot of defending which is not his strength. To be fair he hasn’t had much support and gets isolated
-
According to the Telegraph he has already had talks with Man City and Juventus.

There was a sense yesterday that Marti could see there were weaknesses all over the pitch. I’m sure he has told the club what he needs but his inability to share his thoughts doesn’t inspire confidence that anything is imminent. You cannot lose the likes of Vardy Bilal Wilf and simply expect wingers and fringe players to be anywhere near the level
-
Wow. So weak on the left side defensively. Tom Cannon scoring again just rubs salt in the wounds and whilst Leicester have a makeshift striker up front. Club is in such a poor state
-
Offered nothing at all going forward, can't string any passes together, no control in midfield and totally dominated on the left side. I understand the lack of options in the striker role and not using players that want to leave the club but the lack of quality is incredible.

With Carranza probably leaving and Daka/Ayew nearly out of contract Leicester need 2 strikers not to mention a number 10 and a full back. I would accept anything over £25m for Abdul. I just don’t have confidence that if Leicester will reinvest the money wisely or that it will be made available but hopefully they can complete the Jordan James deal sooner rather than later
-
I thought Marti would rotate a few players but it all looks slow and predictable to me. I’m worried about mistakes playing out from the back and even if Leicester start well suspect they will run out of steam
-
There does seem to be more tat than usual this year. At one time the club had some reasonable Fox and Crop stuff but now even the badges on clothing often look cheap. Feels like the club in general. I’m not going to buy any club shirts with gambling advertising either don’t mind KP on the shirts but the socks is a bit much!

When you combine the defensive statistics with last weeks running/ sprinting pretty much sums Leicester up. Slow sideways passes until they get into difficulty then wide open.
