  1. Marti  has so few players with an attacking threat this is hardly a surprise and if Ramsey is out it is very worrying. To make matters worse conceding soft goals need to look at the defensive set up. Losing Vardy and Bilal and expecting we will be fine in the Championship with final day loans after raising £50 odd million shouldn’t  rest solely on the manager

  2. The manager so few options particularly up front that I feel for him. He identified tracking back and getting caught on the-break as a problem but some of his choices like Soumare and Thomas on this occasion probably didn’t help.  I think we need to let Marti  have more time but he will need support in the market in January

  3. Although the squad might be strong it is patchy and without a proven striker, number 10 or even someone who can deliver a set piece I don’t think we have anything like enough for promotion. Not the managers fault but difficult to know what he can do  in some areas hope Ramsey might make a bit of a difference and at least James looks a player

  4. The manager needs time but the lack of fire power up front is going to be a problem for anyone. I also think that the wingers although a strength are becoming predictable at times and clubs will partly nullify them. Therefore I can’t see it getting any easier

  5. I'm probably not as keen as some to see Faes moved on at this point. Okoli is still growing into the role and I hope Ben Nelson comes through as well but without a replacement I think we could be short on players with experience that are comfortable on the ball. If Faes is not getting starts by January then fair enough.

  6. The lesson here is not to pay inflated wages until players are proven in the English game. In fact way too many players have been on big money and it might be why a number have run their contracts down rather than getting moves.  It wouldn't surprise me if Daka goes in January maybe before and perhaps Ivanovic could be re-visited at that stage. Probably finding £10m up front was too much this window particularly after the issues with the Bilal sale.

  7. Winks could be very useful supporting the new players with his quality and distribution. I’m not so bothered whether he commutes as long as he is fit looks committed on the pitch

  8. I’d probably.say 6/10. Leicester got decent money for a few players like Justin and McAteer. I don’t know what happened with Bilal negotiations but I wonder with more cash we could have bought a striker that we know more about such as Ivanovic even Kone.  Jordan James was very good not sure why he didn’t feature so much in France but if Marti can get the best out of him could be a great buy.

  9. If Leicester are spending money I'd rather it went on James or Ivanovic as they will have some sell on value, or another as yet unknown midfield general. I'm sure Murphy is a decent player the fans love him but it sounds a bit like a compromise getting another winger when we really need a playmaker.  I suppose getting a BEK replacement isn't easy to be fair but feels like last season's business

  10. I don’t know why Leicester are getting side tracked with wingers when it is the strongest area. Spend the money on a quality striker that another club doesn’t want to sell. Marti specifically said Fatawu was one to keep. Everyone has a price but can’t see Leicester selling him that would be the final straw

  11. Leicester so need a bit of leadership in midfield so more than happy with this guy. As long as Winks is focused would be happy to keep him too tbh. Too often this season we have struggled to get control in midfield or pass it forwards and Fatawu has had to save the day with fantastic goals out of nothing.
