  1. Ultimately no cutting edge going forward and a repeated inability to stop crosses coming in. Going to need recruits at both ends of the pitch. Really irritating that Richard Kone didn't come for £3 million and the club probably spent as much on a loan striker that Marti hasn't brought off the bench for weeks. Not hopeful that anything useful will happen in the next window

  2. This just seems a bit lazy on the part of recruitment as opposed to scouting younger players but maybe in January a couple more are lined up. Leicester look best when they can press and stay on the front foot for long periods and it would be unrealistic to expect Antonio to provide that.

  3. I just think the club needs to be looking beyond this season and getting a couple of young strikers in. There are 18 Championship players that have scored 6 or more goals this season we have 3 strikers with 4 goals between them only 2 from open play. .Are none of those good enough? Why you we seen to go for targets nearing the end of their careers on big money.

  4. Of course he was excellent but as we have with Ramsay it is a major risk even short term taking players returning from injury. I would like an up and coming striker such as Ivanovic but can’t see it happening. Can see by next summer not having a single striker at the club everyone is out of contract

  5. . Reading in DT about the recruitment at Sheffield United based on AI not scouting but at least yesterday they had a plan and posed a threat upfront. Marti was presented with a fire sale of our better players and what was available on loans or free transfers to plug the gaps. Issues with full backs and strikers pretty much ignored for a second season no money and points deduction to come.

I don’t know if he is good enough but the squad need to take a lot more responsibility

  6. I’d like Abdul to concentrate on getting behind the full backs rather than cutting in looking for wonder goals. In addition there is a lack of discipline which we saw in midweek. Essential today that Leicester keep 11 players on the pitch and don’t pick up bookings early on.

  7. I think that the squad is fairly average for the Championship no more. Felt sorry for Aluko yesterday who had no time to settle in and wasn’t helped by some of his team mates making mistakes. Marti has a huge job and my worry is that he will increasingly opt for defensive choices when creativity is already lacking.

  8. He gets stuck in and a couple of times got the ball forward effectively. I do think we look more fluent with James in that position but hopefully Skipp will integrate better in time. I was a bit surprised when he was replaced by Soumare I thought Bobby Reid would come in earlier and James move back.all seemed very negative

  9. I think the changes could have come sooner but at least Bobby knows how to hit the ball cleanly great finish. Norwich have paper thin confidence and after that it was all Leicester but great finish from James. Can’t see the point of changing manager as long as he learns from formulas that work and the team that finished today looked OK. Feel sorry for Nelson however

  10. I’m pretty sure Leicester will concede. The defending for the Boro equaliser was tame and I’m a bit worried if Begovic stays on his line for crosses or corners as we gave away loads in the week. Somehow Leicester are going to need to create and convert a couple of chances and maintain a performance for 95 minutes which hasn’t happened for a while

  11. I wonder if someone at the club believes that players unable to score in the premier league will do fine in the Championship we keep hearing that the squad is good enough to be OK. It is the sort of complacency we had when we got relegated with Maddison and Youri in the team.  I know money is tight but  is all about making do and you can't just tread water even in this league.

  12. Didn’t look like scoring until that Penalty out of nothing and we look fragile at the back. Losing the keeper won’t help. Recruitment up front has been an afterthought for the last 2 summers and the result is obvious to any regular at the King Power.Any points deduction will leave Leicester in deep water

  13. He was at fault for the second goal but I think with injuries and limited game time he was probably not 100% fit. Otherwise I thought he was OK if a bit quiet not writing him off. As others have said the whole squad looks jaded and once the second goal went in it was only going to get worse if anything heads dropped and passes all went astray.

  14. Huge risk getting player with no experience of English game when we know Daka is struggling as well. Why has the striker situations has  not been a priority more of an afterthought I don’t know. Other Championship teams look a lot stronger I can’t remember a situation like this where the manager has been rotating 3 forwards in the hope of finding a goal somewhere and nothing is working

  15. Of course we can. We don't have any attacking players that can score regularly, a fit no 10, someone that specialises in set pieces and defensively we look very suspect particularly with some of the full backs. However the lack of  pressing, pace and desire maybe partly due to lack of confidence was a real worry today. I think we had a nice run of fixtures early on and a couple of stunning goals from Abdul that put Leicester in a good position but now the manager faces a very tough period.
