Casey holding onto the ball in dangerous positions yet when he’s in open space he passes backwards. Hamza always asking for the ball but takes an extra touch and too slow to release so passes backwards. A few times he could’ve turned with ease but sent it back. Nacho holds onto the ball for too long, once he needs to use his right foot he powers down. Justin needs to send the ball forward for Mavadidi to run onto.

I think Justin would pass backwards if he took a penalty.

He is such a frustrating player while still being very likeable. If he had a right foot and first touch that wasn’t like a pinball bumper then he wouldn’t have even signed for us to start with. I have grown to appreciate and enjoy our style of football but his first touch is too bad for what is asked of him, more times than not he will send it back into an area where the opposition are.

He has played the whole game like he’s back under Rodgers. It’s like he’s scared to make a progressive pass even though he can make things happen.

They had a range at BKK airport in May that was made with local materials and businesses. Some stylish and well made t shirts and polos but It was just after the Fulham game so just looking at it made me annoyed. Edit - It’s the same range as I saw but the gear was nicer then. More simple and clean. The top is very 90s and the style is what a lot of young Thais wear. I like it but wouldn’t wear it as I’m a boring bastard now who only goes to work, the gym or walk my dog.

I’ve came around to this way of thinking. He has scored some great goals but that now seems to be in the past. He has terrible control for a footballer at any level, when he actually gets hold of it he will slow down and try and run through 3 defenders and lose the ball. His press is half hearted at best, he will stop running 2 metres away and let them play. Then out of nowhere he will do a back heel flick to set someone up and the hope resets.

He adds zero to the team. Need to get some pace on as Casadei, Nacho and Albrighton are too slow.

He starts to close a player down then stops 2 metres away and lets them make a pass without pressure.

It’s just a shame we haven’t seen that this season. All the hard work playing about the back to get to Nacho who will lose it with his first touch or if he manages to control it, holds on for too long and tries to run through 3 players and loses it.
