  1. He’s started to try and fall over at every 50/50 looking for a foul. At least wait till you get to the prem to play like one. It didn’t help that the ref let Hull get away with several rugby tackles and then Mavs body language looks like he feels hard done by and sulks.
  2. Constant hesitation from the cbs causing mistakes.
  3. I want to see him run at players a lot more, he’s capable of so much more. He does tend to sulk when he feels hard done by when fouled. Winks played the worst he’s played all season, he tried to do too much but ended up giving it away too often and putting us in danger. The style of play has gone back to making what should be simple passes too over complicated in the name of control, unlike several games ago where they made intricate passing and attacks look easy.
  4. Hopefully they will be getting the ball quicker so they can run and attack. Doyle instead of JJ should be better for Mavidi.
  5. Everything was too slow yesterday. The wingers and KDH are better when they run with the ball rather than receiving it stood still with the back to goal man marked. All game Faes walked out the back slowly and they were happy to have 20 passes side to side until QPR had got into position instead of that one quick pass to the wingers to get the attack flowing. This style only works when it draws players but they didn’t fall into the trap as they had no intention to press. Albrighton needed to come on to keep pumping balls into Vardy and Cannon rather than Fatawu doing a lot of nothing trying to run through 10 men. The finesse of Enzo ball doesn’t work against a team shithousing from kick off. His inexperience is showing as he’s unwilling to adapt, I think this will be the wake up they really need.
  6. They both lack attacking instinct and ability. Albrighton should be over those two for the rest of the season.
  7. Just like McAteer, they both don’t know what to do so turn back and then it’s too late. They lose it more often than they draw a foul.
  8. If they can pass to the wingers quicker they might get better results. They’ve gone back to too many little passes in the middle and backwards while ignoring Fatawu unmarked until Boro have everyone behind the ball. KDH’s touch has been shocking today, hopefully he can get to run with the ball more.
  9. Or prove them right.
  10. He offers little every game. He can run but can’t decide what to do with the ball so holds onto it till he loses it. All wax no wick.
  11. Very poor from McAteer.
  12. We shouldn’t have stopped when their player did his hamstring in. Cvnts
  13. And make the change early not at 80 mins
  14. I don’t think he has any attacking instinct. He stuttered for the header like he stuttered the one on one at Ipswich.
  15. McAteer doesn’t know what to do with the ball until it’s too late.
  16. Ornstein said a lot of nothing on the podcast. The story changed every day to him just guessing what happened. Imagine that from a journalist. It felt as if he is just doing someone at Brighton a favour to disrupt.
  17. So it’s gone from in talks to a low offer that Leicester won’t accept.
  18. I would play Albrighton over McAteer all season.
  19. We need Justin and KDH on the same side as Stephy. There is no point him doing all the hard work for Kasey to pass back to Justin and kill any momentum. Kasey could’ve sealed the game if he didn’t run for the ball like my dog on the kitchen lino. He's either too scared to do anything with the ball or doesn’t know what to do with it.
  20. You could tell this was going to happen when KDH went off and McAteer and JJ stopped even pretending they were going to look for a forward and the defence starts tippy tappy closer and closer to the goal line.
  21. Kasey would’ve sent the ball back to the keeper
  22. I’d sling McAteer before half time. He is killing every attack, not sure he’s been told that the wingers are allowed to go towards goal now.
  23. Watching Nacho play is more predictable and frustrating than a JJ back pass. I feel he offers very little to the team at the moment. His lack of pressing is annoying and allows the opposition to start attacks off. He will run towards them and stop 3 metres away and allow them to pass rather than carry on to try and force a mistake. Watch him for Ipswich’s goal, he was closer to the player receiving the ball than Casadei but he sprinted towards him while Nacho didn’t bother to move even when he got closer to Nacho he made no attempt. He is stuck in the competence builds confidence loop. His first touch isn’t going to get better, he isn’t going to develop a right foot and I doubt he will ramp up his intensity.
  24. Nacho just stood and watched that happen as well, he couldn’t be bothered to move.
  25. He offers nothing and runs around like he’s been playing from the start. I hate his half hearted pressing, stops 3 metres away and lets them pass.
