It’s not like we have found a hidden gem with some sort of 4d chess tactics that utilises the strength of players. He is a known known. He hasn’t came out and said he will do the opposite that has caused him to fail in recent jobs. The eye test is more than enough. Skipp is shit even if he was free. The point being Skipp is a brain dead footballer who always chooses the easiest pass to stink us out. This modern style of 20 passes when a player could just turn his body and continue forwards.
-
Skipp will play as Martin will want a lemming who will always make a pass back to the CB at the expense of open players and a quick drive.
-
One less LB for Mavadidi to never make a forward pass to.

10m isn’t bad for a player who hasn’t learnt how to pass the ball and run into space. We showed last year that we haven’t got the coaching staff or management to correct basic weekly mistakes, let alone focus and progress someone with his talent. Another season here would be a waste, the same as loaning him back or to anyone. He’ll go into their system for a year to learn discipline, structure, team work and tactics. He’s young enough to unlearn the bad habits from last season, it’s all up to him now as his future is in front of him. Hopefully he develops beyond the standard modern all wax no wick winger, stand still, step overs and dance about while ignoring everyone else before the ball is sent back. -
What Happened Next: Foxes Trust End Of Season Survey

And then they will post even more content for the Bangladeshi bot farm to drown out any negative sentiment. -
I fully expect the useless clowns on high wages to play. Martin will use the cope of ex England/internationals/prem experience and build the team around JV, Thomas, Winks, Hamza and Skipp. Yes men lemmings that are happy to play his boring until they piss around too much and give the ball away style of play. Same idiots, same style of play, same results. I hope I am wrong. It will be disgusting if we have to see Skipp high up the pitch but then stinking the attack out with a backward pass.
-
I feel that he won’t improve so we will only see the absolute pits. He plays football like a dog chasing the ball, rushes in to bundle the opposition rather than make a tackle. I’m sure he is at his level in L1 but all we will see is back pass without even attempting to look forwards or turn and then go missing for 20 passes around the back.

The Cooper, Okoli, Skipp, Ayew, JV contract renewal at the same time hit us on multiple fronts.
-
If Rudkin got a £ per step over deal then the clubs finances will be healthy in no time.
-
It will be nice not hearing this every time he has to kick the ball.
-
Souttar, Nelson and Aluko would be great building blocks for a manager with half an idea about solid no nonsense defending with progressive, quick support. Sadly not needed for FC Backpass.

10 weeks of Harry Winks, Skipp or Hamza. If this lad can move forwards, stop, turn around and pass back then he would have had a bright future with us. I’m guessing he was too progressive and wanted to carry the ball away from our goal. Not the type of player we need around the club 😂 -
We need someone physically and vocally dominant. Hamza is only still here because of HR box ticking, any decent club would have got rid of him for on and off field behaviours. My Sheff United mate couldn’t believe we were still playing him. Ricardo was a terrible captain, standards fell on & off the pitch and he contributed to many errors and the poor playing style. Needed to put himself down for the sake of the team. It needs to be someone from the outside. Im sure they will give it to Winks or JV, they will just be yes men happy to be passing the ball sideways and back like good braindead lemmings.

Mongadidi. Who will take his place in the stand still and step over challenge. To me it felt like the players were left to their own devices by the coaches and managers. He will learn so much once he is in a system with an actual clue, standards, discipline and equally good team mates where he doesn’t instantly stand out. Now it’s up to him to decide if he wants to develop and be a team player who uses his skills to get out of trouble or be like the recent batch of greedy wingers in this country who stand still, try and take everyone on at the expense of a simple pass, quick run or cross. -
Injured loan players and massive agent fees is the Rudkin way.
-
It would be a waste for all concerned to have him back. He wasn’t what we needed last season or what we need this time. He needs to go into a system and learn how to play in a team rather than play like he’s skinning his mates. Our idea of coaching was dumping him on the pitch and letting him spam his skill button. He didn’t grow apart from getting roughed up after megging a few cloggers. He’ll learn more in an afternoon at Man City than he did last season. Maybe we can loan him in a couple of years.
-
He would’ve been ‘fine’ if he didn’t have to ever pass the ball. For some reason, dispute the eye test and stats, the clowns still got him to start the attacks.
-
Sadly he turned into Vestergaard junior when he became the main CB. He looked good when he was playing next to JV and doing the basics well while the clowns to the side and in front passed around for no reason.
-
I think I recall that Cooper binned him off after the first Arsenal game where his passing was embarrassing. You would expect this to be at the top of any scouting report, especially the way the club are obsessed with passing around the back. A young modern day CB that has less brain cells working when on the ball than Hamza is a difficult achievement. He never improved at all, not sure what the coaching staff actually do at the club. Even worse was when he came back into the side last season, the attacks would start with him and then end straight away after he passed to an unmarked opposition.
-
This is conjecture but I feel that if Hamza wasn’t Hamza he would’ve been sacked for the things he has done outside of the club. HR avoided the optics because of the mood in the world at the time. Now they are pushing content so the Bangladeshi bot farm keep positive comments in the algorithm and drown out the comments from fans. A Hamza documentary didn’t need to be made during the worst season in 10 years while Rome is burning. The same with them spamming best of Vardy and Mahrez clips after every defeat last season. I’m guessing the social content department is someone straight out of uni studying PR who outsources to Fiverr who just use AI.

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

Our coaches are a massive problem. Same mistakes every week, nothing fixed. Surely a coach and manager with half a brain would tell Mavadidi to stop playing like he chooses to, explaining the mistakes and options when going over footage. Every week he seemed unwilling and unable to process then need to run into space and pass to players ahead. Thomas to Mav to Thomas cross should be bread and butter last season. I feel all Martin will do is enable the walking football and boring passes between JV, Thomas, Winks and Skipp. Pass back at the expense of a quick counter just for Okoli to reboot his brain before he passes to the opposition or JV gets pressed and countered. -

It’s called foreshadowing, it’s not like he’s an unknown manager or one that has evolved a style of play due to the resources available. I doubt he has had an epiphany and this is the club where he does something different, but I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong. The dross will be enabled to play exactly the same way and the rot will continue.
