An extra clown at the back to stand still, ignore a forward pass for sideways and turn around to start again.

And the worst at passing. Okoli passes to their players while under zero pressure, Thomas won’t pass forwards to an unmarked player in space but will to a CB being pressed, McCarthy somehow makes Okoli look like prime Beckham and the other two donkeys will pass short to each other while being pressed. All while Alves, Page and Riss will be unmarked waiting for a quick forwards pass.

Can’t even use the same excuse that he’s Rudkin’s love child like with Thomas.

So zero accountability again. Keep playing the dross that make the mistakes. Thomas shouldn’t even be in the match day squad after the 2nd goal week. If stopping your run while shoulder to shoulder with a forward and gifting them a goal doesn’t get you dropped, nothing will in this team.

Also the players should use their voices to speak up at what’s not working, They can also use their brain and not play how he wants. They won’t as they are just yes men. We have a striker who can get on rhe end of the ball, this should be the first priority, not keep the ball for the longest time away from the area it needs to be.

Yep. They need to be higher up the pitch ready to receive the ball in space and just get the ball in the box. Page needs to be controlling the tempo of the game with his drives from deep. It will be the usual dross, side ways and backwards, waiting for a press that will win the ball from their mistake, leaving the clowns on the back foot. I’m sure Thomas will start again, even after his disgraceful non attempt at defending the second goal.

If the players are anxious they could always employ free will and use their footballing brain cell to workout what is the cause of their anxiety. We need them to feel shame and embarrassment for playing this way even though they know it is creating problems. Then hopefully they can make better decisions.

I’m guessing it’s along the lines of they get an easy life if they just agree with him. Too many yes men. I think we only have one hot headed player that will speak the truth, but sadly he hasn’t been able to back much up in front of goal. We need the team to be a collective on the pitch and ignore his tactics in the hope of a result. That won’t happen as he’s got too many of his boys in the team. You can see how easily they will choose the cowards pass which somehow puts them in more danger at the back and less of a threat up front. It also doesn’t help having brain drains like Thomas, Souttar and Okoli controlling the tempo and attacks.

He is perfect for the LCFC donkey sanctuary. The way he passes the ball, he needs his eyes tested and a cognitive assessment.

Apart from the above list of horrors, we more than have enough to go on a run and turn things around. Use O’Hora as a cb not a play maker, also Burns could come back from this and be useful if his sole purpose is to keep smashing crosses into the box. The first pass out the back quickly to Page for him to drive us forwards and we look like a different team. Drop the cowards back pass and reset when they get close to the box and take ownership. A loose ball and poor clearance in their box is more dangerous than recycling all the way back out our clown shoes keeper.

Thomas will start again along with Okoli, Reid, Cullen and Burns. The line up and formation doesn’t really matter due to them playing Martins tactics to the letter. The only way it will change is if the players have a unified mutiny and ignore his tactics completely. Go for it with quick attacks. Too many of his mates and yes men happy to be out and about. The players with some connection to the club are too young to speak out for risk of being benched and the yes men are happy taking the wage.

Or doing any sort of improvement himself. He could’ve spent the last 4 years trying to kick the ball forwards with his right foot. 15 minutes after the training session kicking the ball against a wall. he could’ve gained muscle, learnt how to read the game, his opponents and work on the basics.

Have we actually built a team for this style or collected players that Martin has shoehorned to play his flawed style. You stop passing around the back, play out quickly and create overlaps with the wingers. The game early in the season where Page was running the show, the cbs passing quickly and he turned at pace. That is the style and it felt like the team were ignoring the tactics. I recall the game after that he switched to Thomas being the left side cb controlling the tempo and passes into the middle from the halfway line and we got battered.

For the first goal he blocked McCarty leaving a gap at the back where the ball was curled in. For the 2nd goal he was halfway in their half. Between him and Thomas, we have two of the lowest footballing IQ and ability players I have seen. Both haven’t found their level.

You know what to expect but somehow it’s still embarrassing watching them play. He just gives up after the first touch. For the first goal at least Aluko has the excuse of being turned by some sort of skill.

I did as I thought we would be getting a meat and potato winger that is just good at pinging balls and would at least match the cloggers in L1. My Ipswich mate said good things but it’s like when Albrighton left, we got the best of him. He went from playing in a system where they attack quickly and the full backs overlap and provide support to whatever dross we are seeing. His legs are gone. Another waste of money which doesn’t help and no doubt he’ll get played because of ‘experience’.

I’ve just watched the highlights on YouTube. The first goal Okoli moves across to block McCarthy and leaves the back post wide open. Brain dead The second goal Okoli is playing attacking mid, Thomas gives up then tries to push him in the back, O’Hara gave as much effort as my dog on a cold morning. Brain dead. The third goal was an unlucky deflection but so easy to get free as no one tries to tackle. Our goal should be bread and butter in this league.

We are still stuck between the back the team and give him time copes.

I think it will the McCarthy to Thomas pass that never reaches him.
