Just had a nice winner at Wolverhampton, New Code (4/1), having a real run on the horses atm. Some of the winnings put on Feyenoord (12/5).

Apart from the form previews that various betting sites put up, I personally don't know any tips websites but I'm sure others will. I don't bet on horses anywhere near as much I used to do, but had some decent returns from a 5/1 on Monday and a 3/1 at Leicester the other day. The way I pick them is to avoid jumps races completely (apart from the big meets like Cheltenham, Aintree), and bet on mid-division flat races. I tend to go through each race flat race card (if I can be arsed) and compare the BHA ratings with the weights. Horses with higher BHA ratings that are low down on the racecard and low in the weights. Not exactly a brilliant way of doing it, nor well explained , but that's how I go about it. Doing it like that kind of restricts betting opportunities a lot of the time but I can usually pick 2/3 a day. Will start posting some of my bets up but I'm by no means an expert or have any kind of record compared to some posters on here.

Anyone seen The Town? Thought it was really good myself, especially as there seems to be a real dearth of anything decent out atm.

Just what I thought and what anyone else would surely think is happening, none of that ^ surprises me one bit. The club is in a total mess and is fast losing it's credibility from the inside and from the outside. It can't go on for many more seasons like this.

Exactly, we're a small county and it's impossible for the club to move forward. I wasn't suggesting that the club should cease immediately, but I bet plenty of board members have gave it a brief flitting thought and why wouldn't they, money has become the game and surely the LCCC books are pretty bleak financially. All this behind the scenes stuff makes you wonder whether anyone is enjoying themselves at the club. No matter what you think of Davidson and his brutal honesty, he speaks sense, no home wins in the twenty20 is a complete disaster. Unfortunately, twenty20 in the county game is 90% of the season because of the money it brings. As for foundations, they won't last, if the young players are good enough they'll be moved on to the bigger counties. The whole county game in England and Wales is on the slippery slope and it's clubs like LCCC that suffer the most, the national game is practically everything now. You cannot deny the club is deep trouble, and ever since winning the twenty20 with our golden group (Maddy, Hodge et al.), the club has been struggling to tread water in the deepest of oceans.

I'd still be crying now, that's so unlucky, what a win it would have been, life-changer almost.

The club is a complete shambles on and off the pitch. Makes you wonder whether it's all worth the bother, surely the club is operating a loss financially?. Nobody ever turns up to the games unless it's twenty20 and we managed to go through this year's campaign without registering one measly home win. The only player anything was expected of this season (Hoggard), has been average at best.

Feyenoord did me out of what would have been a £70(ish) profit.

quite possibly, especially with my useless betting record, although I've backed him for most of his games in his current winning streak and it's amazingly not put him off so I'll keep the faith. Monfils and Murray playing some very strange tennis at the moment which makes me more confident for Nalby. Hoepfully it's Murray then we can all lump on Nalbandian at a big price. ...seriously though, any price odds against and I'll be putting a decent amount on him.

David Nalbandian is a machine, the guy just keeps on winning. He next plays the winner of Murray-Monfils. Hopefully Murray wins that as the bookies always shove him in at a short price, so Nalbandian should have some very attractive odds.
