Meh, saying Charlton at home is a tough game gives these players a pass. What would he describe playing the top 3 away as.

No manager ever was going to say its an easy game its just a standard statement to show respect to your opponents

    Not sure on Rowett anyhow.

But if your smokescreen theory is correct and we end up with Russell Martin I'll be weapons grade livid.  IMO him apponted as our manager would be a new level of  tragic, HE IS NOT THE ANSWER...

The bloke is a incompetent, narcissistic loony, who craves the sound of his own voice and wants to bathe in his own false self importance.

Look at the Sh1tshow of a job he did at Rangers,  a top 3 team in their league and he was abhorrent. The Rangers fan's hated his football and saw through his BS in record time.

His tactics are worse than Marti's, and if we were pulling our hair out with boredom and frustration due to tippy tappy sideways and backwards possession football this fvcktard is on another level.

I would also be absolutely livid, currently not living too near Leicester so don't get to every game but kept my season ticket appointing Russell Martin might be the push that would make me cancel

Man management isn't a skill you lose, neither is recognising how to put together an elite team.

The football tactics side does change and not all managers can adapt.

That being said, yes it is a pipedream as he would be too much of a challenge to JR. It is clear that Rudkin has outgrown his role at LCFC and is in desperate need of a promotion to King Power, hopefully Top realises this.

That is a very nice way of putting it

A lot has been spoken about on the ‘football has moved on’ front, do we really think someone who hasn’t managed a football club in 4/5 years, who had health problems etc is the right option?

Pearson from 10 years ago is the person we need now, but is Pearson from now that? And even if it is, is it realistic?

The answer to your question is i don't know/ maybe not but id definitely be up for giving it a go.

People often make the mistake of jumping Pearson in with the old fashioned English managers mainly because under him we played 4-4-2/4-4-1-1.

However he really isn't and has never been old fashioned. He has always been promoting sports science/sports physiology and pushed the club to build and progress in this direction to help the players technically and mentally improve.

He was also a big champion of the analytics and data science used in scouting and him along with Steve Walsh helped build a possibly World leading scouting team of the back of that.

So yes he's been out of football for a few years but he has never been old fashioned when it has come to keeping up with the times where football is concerned

    It literally isn’t.

Stolarczyk is fine not great not amazing but fine, begovic is a decent experienced back up.

We currently have no LB or striker that are anywhere near the quality we need, an ageing RB who can't play every game anymore with very little back up, with James and Ramsey injured are CM looks desperate.

These all need sorting before we even think about improving the goalkeeper

Have it on good authority that we are in the market for a GK. Been told we have a shortlist of 3. 2 in the championship and 1 in League 1. I have a feeling (but this is feeling) not the gent i know, that its Sam Tickle from Wigan. A high Ceiling to improve but will cost a little because of this.

A goalkeeper is literally the least of our worries right now if they are wasting time a resources on this ...

    No.

He's quite ill, he strongly dislikes Jon Rudkin and I really don't think he'd do a third stint.

I also don't think he'd be a good interim coach anyway and he definitely isn't a long term option. Pearson's biggest strength was culling the kind of squad we have now, not working with it.

Where has Pearson said he really dislikes Rudkin? I have missed that. I mean i am not surprised just interested to read it myself?
