Aluko can don't know about Joseph
-
Aluko can play CB and LB as well right? Can Joseph? possibly both of them could be in the same defence?
-
Or it could make us attractive as they think they could get us cheaper than a championship club because we are in league 1 and we have the infrastructure to succeed quickly once we are back in the championship and they can put the money in

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

Have we not brought in 40-50 m surely we could reinvest at least 15 m of that? -
I get what your saying and to some extent agree however I a year that we are needing to do a squad rebuild and bring in 10ish new players to not have them in as early as possible is a mistake we are going to end up starting the first game of the season with a team of players that haven't had time to gel and get to know the managers tactics because yet again we have left it late to sign people

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

What do we think the percentage chance of us signing a young hungry striker that can actually score goals is? We have been crying out for it for the last 5 years and it hasn't happened yet and a big reason why we were relegated twice. Im going with about a 10% chance -
Did we just ask around the dressing room if anyone knows anyone who would be willing to play for us? That's the extent of our scouting now

Danny Ings (signing 1 year deal, John Percy.)

True but also our first preseason game is tomorrow and we still haven't signed anyone yet in a year we are meant to be doing a squad rebuild and looking at 11 signings according to Percy. Not exactly good preparation for the team for none of them to be in yet. We are slow again and look like we are going to be leaving it until the last minute again. No changes seen so far... -

Or maybe I just have expectations above absolute rock bottom, however bad a place we are in we should be expecting to be able to attract players who can score at least 15-20 goals in league 1 especially when people at the bottom of the league can. That is not unrealistic expectations -

Rotherham who finished 2nd bottum of league 1 last year had someone who scored 12 in one season last year twice what ings has scored in the last 3 we absolutely can expect better -

It really isnt he record over the last couple of seasons it literally the most relevant peice of information. You can't sign someone who has been awful just because they were good more than 5 years ago and then just completely write of there last 5 years as irrelevant thats idiotic -

He's scored 6 goals in 75 games as a striker even as a league 1 club you can expect better than that -

6 goals in his last 75 games 0.08 goals per game or 1 goal every 12 games But he used to play for Southampton so he must be good right.... -
At least we know Ghana wont score starting Ayew upfront
-
Yes i agree we probably need a better no 1 but Jacub is good enough, definitely not a priority
-
We wont get anyone in then we will get a couple of panic loans in on deadline day and start tye season with no striker again
-
Not played for Southampton so non starter
-
Or as it turns out not balance the books
-
He will be sacked soon and never mentioned as a candidate again thats the only positive
-
Why do people keep saying this his best finish in league 1 was 13th with a team that got promoted immediately after he left. He has had 1 half successful season ever where he failed to get southampton automatic promotion every other season he has managed has been a complete disaster what about any of that makes people think he will be alright for league 1?
-
Russell Martin has manged 269 games and of those in 46 of them his team has conceded 3 or more goals thats 17 % or 1 in 6 (5.8) games which means over the course of a 46 game league 1 season (not including cup games we can be expected to concede 3 or more goals about 8 times! Yet we have decided he is the one! Does anyone at this club know anything about football?

This is taking a while just typical leicester or 2nd thoughts due to the reaction?
