With 3 decent players knackered and a bad outing, they should be gracious. I respect Stoke as a side, and their fans aren't knobs from what I can gather.
Tomorrow's match will hopefully be an arrival party for the Foxes in the U.S. - would love to see some positive momentum come from the big stage we're offered.
Despite the accusations of new-found fandom levied against many of their supporters, I do think that the core appreciates the rising and falling of football fortunes and isn't nearly as arrogant as some others. I appreciate that a great deal.
Not sure if this is place to link this, but it was an interesting read: http://www.theguardian.com/football/in-bed-with-maradona/2016/jan/12/johan-cruyff-signed-leicester-city-barcelona-nasl?CMP=fb_a-football_b-gdnfootball "How Johan Cruyff nearly signed for Leicester City in 1981"
Don't know if you follow American football, but I feel that your comment also accurately describes every time I hear Troy Aikman and Joe Buck call an NFL game.
There are a few of us in the Carolinas. Where are you headed? I'd bet there are a couple in Atlanta as well. Texas isn't really the "South," but I know there are a couple Houstonians on here too.
The broadcasters even said it during the match - "If their name wasn't Leicester, we would be talking a run for the title - and if Chelsea wasn't Chelsea, we would be talking about a relegation battle."
http://www.wsj.com/articles/english-soccers-out-of-nowhere-goal-machine-1448472897 Nice article from yesterday's The Wall Street Journal about Vardy. It's crazy to see this kind of global coverage for a Leicester striker.
