I think that a good bit of time passed between the scenes in King's Landing and the scene in Dorme, as well as the final shot.

The music made the scene, IMO.

You in the UK don't truly grasp the idiocy of my countrymen, even as you witness it. It's hard for many Americans who are aware of the insanity to even see it. The unwashed, religious masses are blinded by their misinformed notions about the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This is without mentioning the sighs of relief from those same rabble that were just barely audible as the news came out that most of the slaughtered were homosexuals. The fundamentalist, evangelical Christians in my nation are as grave a threat to our future as anything that could show up on our doorstep.
