Musa has been poor, but so was the rest of team until 4 games ago... He needs a chance to prove himself.... So far neither him or slimani appear to be very overpriced flops who don't appear to fit into our style or system. But everybody needs time, hopefully next season they will. Although if we get a half decent offer i would sell musa and slimani
-
He was brilliant for us today. By the age of 26 (kantes age)... He might be even better

I think Ranieri shoulders a lot of blame for the changes he made this season. Although I can understand why he made some of those changes. Some changes were forced on him, especially in terms of players gone (kante) and players coming in. What really gets to me was he should never have tried to change too much of the off field stuff. At least not until we established our new team/tactics/personnel for the season, until then he should have left the off field structure in place. Now we will never be able to tell how much of an impact a guy like this would have had. If we would still lose we could definitely pin our problems down to not having a kante replacement or players like vardy mahrez not giving it all or other on field issues.... Because Ranieri wanted to really put his signature on our style and take us to the next level..... He changed too much too soon....

Musa has been poor.... But from a certain school of thought (ranieris) he was right to start in Europe.... Perhaps not ahead of gray who has been our best player recently but maybe Albrighton.... Musa does have CL experience before and has played in world cup games.... So you can see why Ranieri picked him ahead of a less experienced player. Tbh, vardy, huth, Morgan, drinky and Albrighton can hardly complain about musas performances or selection.... They were pretty poor themselves apart from that goal

Creswell goal was a good example of how slow amartey is at getting to the ball. He just seems to be jogging around. When him and king were in midfield it was just too easy for the opposition to bypass them. Ndidi brings a bit more dynamic play to the midfield. Personally I would try amartey at the back. Dropping Morgan in his place. Although much earlier this season I did suggest amartey be tried on in the middle of the back three a bit like a sweeper... But seeing as our players can't understand anything other than 442 under Ranieri.... I'm sure That would have failed too .
-
The thing is, I've never seen this "pace" of amartey Personally I think big Wes is faster than him, it's just Wes is slow the first few yards but when he gets going he has good pace. Huth is slow. Simpson is our fastest defender. Fuchs is quick in recovery tackles but lacks ground pace. Amartey has been slow and I've seen players walk past him quite easily including last season - creswell goal comes to mind vs West ham - he was slow to close down. This season against united he was like a statue in midfield at old Trafford. I don't think he is fast unless comparing him to huth... Which doesn't say much
-
He was basically bought on the raw attribute of speed, as replacement or cover for vardy. So we could continue have the fast goal threat if/when vardy was missing. I think our then recruitment thought they could develop him. In theory it should be possible to adapt better to this league. But seeing as he's closer to 40 than he is to 20, i would say there's little hope of him improving
-
not worth what we paid.... and definately not the age he says he is..... he's in his 30s for sure
-
he was at fault for the mata goal... not closing down pogba or mata.... and his general play istoo standoffish.... never really gets stuck in like mr kante did. His passes are usually sideways and slows down our momentum. DD and Kante would either drive forward or pass quickly forward.

He said all that crap a few weeks ago in that interview on sky. Same interview where he said our players were rejects, failures, cast offs, didnt have red carpet treatment etc. That's why we were so strong when it mattered - which there is some truth in. Anyway like others have said Atletico with little possession do well. having less possession doesn't mean you get tired more. Raf Benitez mentioned it once as a pundit where the stats showed Barcelona actually run more. The other team boxed in their own half just need good positional play/shape and be ready to punish on the counter attack, without threat on counter it will be hard. That's why we need a backup for vardy or at least a pacey partner. Atletico have done wonderfully with greizmann and an old Torres. -

I bet 3 of the points he gave villa was from us. Still the villa league position is the only one he got right. He seemed to have massive bias against us and West ham. 11 places off -

I totally agree... But it's not factoring into account the world has changed. We now have Thai owners and they do stuff which wouldn't have been the thing to do even 20-30 years ago. Leicester has changed for better or for worse (it can be argued)... People have different mindsets, culturally different. Like how south Americans players for example diving and cheating is considered clever... Whereas by most fans in this country its disliked. Same goes for these plastics if you want to call them that. We can't understand when we look at it from a traditional point of view... For me, if you want to watch city you will find a way. If you can't afford it and someone else can, plastic or not... I wish 'em all the best. If they support the team, singat the games and teach the next generation to support this city... I don't have any issues with that. If they all f&&& off when we become shit again so be it -

Supporting the city should only be reserved for the select few then or only people born here? What p#sses me off is this attitude of having a divine right above others. they can all support who the **** they want... it won't make any differance. People who really want season tickets will get them -

To be fair, its one thing having 30% against Swansea or even man city... It's another thing to do it against Barca and Bayern. What Atletico have acheived is really amazing. It's something I think we can and should aspire to. We do have a lot of similarities but I think there is a lot more we can learn. A whole pre season with Claudio will do the world of good in terms of tactical development for the squad. We can't match some of teams playing their type of game. Better we play our game or rather a game that neutralises their strengths. -

I agree kante and Drinkwater can do a job. But To be fair what merson said is a valid concern. When there is less threat from pace behind the opposition defence, teams do push 20-30 yards higher up the pitch. Which in turn makes playing in midfield much more difficult. That's why with vardy on the pitch it make team think twice about how they set up. Most likely this will be a messy congested game, where we will have to fight to impose our game. -

if we do win it.... next season is always going to be downer unless we win the CL. Regardless, I would take two consecutive relagations if it meant winning the league. This might not happen for another 132 years, can't be waiting that long again. We need to grasp this now -

C'mon our play today was pretty good until the sending off. And that's when the 10 men need us to be the 11th most... To expect to only give support if our team can start playing like Barcelona is ridiculous -

Fans lucky enough to get to watch the game live need a good talking to if they are leaving early regardless of circumstances. This could be once in a lifetime even if we lost fans should stay to give hope to our players and confidence with whatever we can... Why would anyone leave early? Insane -

decisions went for us and against us... but the one that changed the whole complextion of the game was the sending off... and that was a poor decision against us. West ham were hard done by with the goal which probably should have been a foul and penalty... but then again if he gave that, he would have to give 100s of pens in that game. And obviously they had a poor decision go against them with the schlupp peno, which i think just making up for the one a few minutes earlier on Huth. Stoke do us a favour on Monday that would make a huge differance. If not, we can still be positive. The biggest regret from this game is that Vardy won't be playing our next game and that will mean our whole style of play may have to change -
