Complete agree think I'd actually be sad if we choose Potter over Ruud having been turned down multiple times by Potter. Especially as seems Ruud may of been eager to come here. Cause I reckon if Pottter doesn't somehow manage to keep us up and we go down he'd want to leave in the summer anyway.

So it sounds like Ruud wanted the job and on the verge of being appointed and Potter now wants it because he's realised he won't get anything better? Basically the club have done a complete 180 cause the target they've wanted since Rodgers left finally said yes. If that's the case only way I'd be happy with their complete 180 is if that means Potter finally gets what he wants in bringing his own DOF and Rudkin leaving.

That's true. Let's be honest club don't really care what the fans think and they'll decide how the safe standing goes and they'd pick their way even if a fans/supporters group idea was better and made more sense.

Knowing the club if they were deemed a fire risk I very much doubt they'd even sanction the displays. Remember a few years ago the uproar that was caused because the club wouldn't allow flags in without a fire safety certificate if I'm remembering correctly.
