  1. I assume so. Also, haven’t they changed the rules for the 25/26 season (only allow to spend 80% of generated income of transfers/wages)?
  2. Fair point. But, there is a big difference between what you want to do and what you can actually do (legally speaking). I can’t blame any club and would expect them to question and challenge the legality of the EFL actions.
  3. This is ridiculous. Before trying to get a points deduction against Leicester imposed by PL for 22/23 and then applied by EFL in 23/24, I assume the EFL sought legal advice. They must of ignored the legal advice or hired some shit lawyers.
  4. This is definitely a Chelsea FFP issue. They are really walking a tightrope and could be punished in the near future. I imagine Gallagher will be sold in January (pure profit) and Casadei will possibly be his replacement.
  5. Agree. Although our over reliance on KDH is a tad worrying.
  6. I personally find this table intriguing (I apologise if this has already been posted). https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/top-scorers
  7. I assume they believe Sammy Braybrooke will take that role.
  8. I don't know what he’s on, but I’ll have what the Mercury journo is having:
  9. I assume it’s a process because our defenders/keeper are still coming to terms with what our manager wants. Constantly playing from the back obviously comes with certain risks and we will concede silly goals what ever division we are in. But the manager has calculated the benefits outweigh the costs (keeps possession, pulls opposition players out of position, can tire the opposition, can be used against counter attacks……) Against Blackburn I thought in the 1st half we got duped into adopting their gung ho attitude. We were much better when we passed it around in a slower more composed way. moreover, I don’t think we actually have the players to play any differently now. Rightly or wrongly, the club had fully supported the manager and his footballing philosophy.
  10. That was the sort of win that wins you Championships. Although entertaining, In the first half I thought we we’re duped into matching Blackburn’s ‘youthful enthusiasm’. Much more composed and patient in the second half. At the beginning of the season I was critical of Wilf and couldn’t see he remained in the starting 11 (especially after his performance against Hull). But he’s been outstanding in the last 4 games. I watch this team and think to myself “if only”. Rodgers/Ward and a general malaise across the club cost us our Premiership status. If we survived in the Premiership, we would of had a golden opportunity to rebuild and progress. Especially when you consider 2 of the three relegation spots are already possibly decided (Luton/Sheffield United).
